This! Not once did I see Driskel make a pre-snap call. Our Oline is not making the protection calls so the QB has to.

I remember Steve Young talking about how bad Orton was under pressure.

Driskel may be on that level. I dunno if he just started doing it in 2020 but if he was doing it in previous years I really want to ask the front office why they thought it was a good idea to bring a QB who struggles big time under pressure to a team that has been one of the worst at giving up pressure for years now.

I don't know. At this point it might be more entertaining to see Royce Freeman take snaps behind center. Bortles is a big 'meh' from me, but I did like him initially coming out of college.

I'd like to think Shumar could help him grow a bit, but Shumar and his play calling / coaching have been horrible.
