Sup Jennie fans? Now that the Raiders are officially toasted, I thought I would see how the wounded faired in Denver. I know, I know - life is not as good as you hoped for back when October started, and from the looks of it, even a wild card is more like a wishful dream. But look at the bright side - you have a real team here in the AFC West to represent our honor in the playoffs. Somebody has to earn us some respect. With 2-3 more losses here in November for you, and then us coming to your house to spank Jake again, I am sure you are already watching college games dreaming about next years draft pics.

Jennie fans?
Ok, someone please explain?
And I don't feel the playoffs are a write off yet.
And while 19-0 would be something to talk about, I don't think anyone realistically expects to do so. It is too hard.
5-3 in the first half, 5-3 in the second half would be 10-6.
At the very least, that makes the Broncos a wild card contender,, depneding on other teams records.

Oh - and really? Just who do you think are going to beat the Chiefs 3 times? Denver? They are so beat up the girl scouts could take them. Oakland? You DID see them lose to Detroit didn't you? And finally - the Viqueens? They are self-destructing.
We're the best thing in the NFL right now. Come on board with a winner.Enough already - please turn the HAARP machine off now.

I love these fans that tell us how theyre going to make history. Dont tell us how your team is going 19-0.........it wont happen. Since the NFL has gone to the 16 game season no one has gone undefeated....you think thats an accident? No, its because its a long season and you will stumble one week...and if you dont...you will in the playoffs. Come on be real.
You MIGHT be the best in the league right now....although your defense is showing some holes....but lets not be stupid.

Jennies and 16-0
I think "jennie or jenny" is a term for a female donkey.
Just another endearing term some Chiefs fans have for the Broncos. Personally, I don't think derogatory nicknames do much for intellectual discourse. I mean, calling the Chiefs the Chefs or the Squaws doesn't make an argument against the Chiefs any stronger than calling the Broncos the Jennies or the Donkeys.
As for the undefeated record so far. I think it's only natural for fans of a team that's undefeated midway through the season to dream a little bit. It's not a big stretch to look at the remaining games on the schedule and project the possibility of victory in all of them. Based on where the teams are right now, it's possible the Chiefs would be favored to win every game.
But realistically, 13-3 or 14-2 seems reasonable. Picking the one or two or three losses is difficult. Who knows -- the Chiefs might blow through Minnesota and Denver and get clobbered by Detroit or Cincinnati.Last edited by ReasonableChief; 11-03-2003, 10:48 AM.Despite all the hype, once you finally get a hammer, you don't hammer nearly as much as you think you will.

Ah, being someone who doesn't work with animals, I would not know that.
Don't exactly have donkeys everywhere in PA or San Diego.
I guess that means the original poster is either an animal caregiver/breeder..... or a 'rural native"

Back to the undefeated talk. Um, Mastema...isn't it a tad premature to be talking about 16-0 when you have fully half the season left to be played?"You can't take the sky from me..."

Jennie = female mule.
We believe in 19-0.
10-6 for the Jennies? Not with your injuries. Your injury list looks like a normal team roster.Last edited by Mastema; 11-03-2003, 10:58 AM.Enough already - please turn the HAARP machine off now.

Chefs
Chefs has been a derogatory term for the Chiefs for a long, long time. Chris Berman on ESPN was the most notable user of the term ... when Schottenheimer first came to Kansas City, Berman said he was going to keep calling them the Chefs until they had a winning record.
But that Snickers commercial didn't help, but it sure was funny.Despite all the hype, once you finally get a hammer, you don't hammer nearly as much as you think you will.

I never have either - knowledge isn't restricted to those who work in that field.

Don't have them in downtown Kansas City, Missouri either.
