    While past performance is no indication of future productivity, we managed to pull this one out at the end.

    Thing about history is, in football it can turn on a play.

    no jinx, history tell us we will win and we did.

    we need to lose this negativity..

    Only when I'm watching.

    I also try to keep a clear conscience too: history tells that if I think something bad is going to happen to my beloved Broncos, it usually does.

    Let me ask you guys a question. If you can't hear the announcers, does it still jinx us......hmmmmm?
    Kind of like, if a tree falls and there's no one around to hear it, does it still make a sound.

    Well, I'm just glad we've got "History" lining up for us this week at QB!

    I hear "History" can really throw that ball and is faster and more elusive than Michael Vick.

    With Elway:
    =============
    1983: 6-2 regular (Elway's rookie season)
    1984: 7-1 regular, 0-1 postseason
    1985: 6-2 regular
    1986: 7-1 regular, 1-0 postseason
    1987: 7-1 regular, 2-0 postseason
    1988: 6-2 regular
    1989: 6-2 regular, 2-0 postseason
    1990: 4-4 regular
    1991: 7-1 regular, 1-0 postseason
    1992: 7-1 regular
    1993: 5-3 regular
    1994: 4-4 regular
    1995: 6-2 regular
    1996: 8-0 regular, 0-1 postseason
    1997: 8-0 regular, 1-0 postseason
    1998: 8-0 regular, 2-0 postseason

    Post-Elway:
    ==========
    1999: 3-5 regular
    2000: 6-2 regular
    2001: 6-2 regular
    2002: 5-3 regular
    2003: 6-2 regular
    2004: 6-2 regular
    Interesting stats. But notice that in our two Super Bowl winning seasons we were undefeated at home. And even in 3 of our 4 Super Bowl disappointment seasons we only lost 1 home game.

    We shouldn't even be satisfied with a 6-2 home record if we want to be serious contenders. If we can go 7-1 or 8-0 at home and then win at least half our road games, we'll be in great shape.

    But we need to reestablish our dominant homefield advantage.
