No one can outplay Denver right now. No one.

I'd be willing to bet the Colts can....

On the other hand, I know that the one win was in 1998, when the Broncos were unquestionably superior to the Chiefs and still only won by four points.

      look at last years game....

so I guess theres no such thing as KC beating Denver this year in reference to your quote.

Woody is a geezer, I dont blame him. Mr screwloose obviously has lost a screw. He is such a Manning B$#ch I can't believe it. Manning is this, Manning is that. I know Manning is by far the best QB in the league, and probably the most impressive since Elway left, but Woody is so biased to him, It makes me sick.

I don't think the Broncos have the problem of being mentally tough. They did beat the Cowboys this year with just three days to get ready. Also, most of our wins have been close games so this team does know how hang tough even when things look bad.

Broncos do hang tough and they put the game away with a big lead by scoring more which is nice, I hate heart attack inducing games.

No... like i said, unless Denver beats themselves or Hall runs three back with 24 clipping penalties that go unseen by the refs then there is no way KC is taking this game.

Well, let's consider this: If we don't feel we can go with this team into Arrowhead and win in December, why would we feel we can go into Indianapollis in January and win there?

We have all season done things that haven't been done before. The Eagles were undefeated in games when Terrell Owens caught a touchdown pass. Not when they played the Broncos. Jake Plummer had never gone more than three games without throwing an interception. Not this season.

If we really feel this team is special, then we understand that if THEY believe in themselves, and play to the level they are capable, they can win in Arrowhead against the Chefs.

He said that he'd take Plummer over Green.

                      Oh it was awesome.

Woody was like, "When the going gets tough, Trent can't do it, he hasn't even won a playoff game."

The other guy was like, "How many did Plummer win?"

Woodrow says, "One, with the Arizona Cardinals, that counts as a Super Bowl Win."

Here is the rundown on the respective records over the years:

                        ............DENVER......KANSAS CITY

                        1995........8-8............13-3
                        1996........13-3...........9-7
                        1997........12-4...........13-3
                        1998........14-2...........9-7
                        1999........6-10...........9-7
                        2000........11-5...........7-9
                        2001........8-8.............6-10
                        2002........9-7.............8-8
                        2003........10-6...........13-3
                        2004........10-6...........7-9

As you can see, by the W-L records the Chiefs have had a "superior" team in only four out of the 10 years in question, putting your hypothesis to rest. During that time, as you mentioned, Denver won one (1) game in KC, the postseason game of January 1998, when, according to the respective W-L records during the regular season, the Broncos were not "clearly" superior.

The better team does not always win at Arrowhead. The Chiefs usually do.
