  • Next Good Pass Rushing DE!

Who will be our next good pass rusher.

I voted for Dumerville because I really think he is gonna be good at getting to the QB, I think he will pull a Robert Mathis.

    What do you guys think?

(Besides Im thinkin of DEs as our pass rushers, not really the DTs. So if youre wonderin why there is no DTs on there that is the reason)

No one will be good, they all suck. Most sacks anyone will get is 4 or 5

B-Marsh owning Al Harris(Aka: the supposed most physical corner in the league)

    Mock Draft:

    **If Ellis/Dorsey fall**

    1) Dorsey or Ellis(whoever falls)
    2) Devin Thomas
    4) Frank Okam
    4) Beau Bell

    **If Ellis/Dorsey dont fall**

    1) Desean Jackson
    2) Pat Sims or Trevor Laws(whoever falls)
    4) Frank Okam
    4) Beau Bell

I have my hopes, but for now I had to go with the "suck" selection.

    Nobody's shown much of anything . . . yet.

Guess it's better not to expect too much and be pleasantly surprised?

Well, if each one gets 4 sacks, plus sacks from LBs, Safeties, and DTs, we're in the 30-40 sack range.

        One can wish, you know...

        Too soon, D-Will, too soon.

I meant even the best people on our Dline could only get 4-5 sacks because we dont have quality people.

But I wouldn t mind if each got 4 sacks, that would be great lol.

I still think Dumerville is gonna be great

Out of those listed, I'd vote for Dumervil. I don't think his size will hurt him that much at this level, and he could prove to be a Robert Mathis type player for us. Now, it's premature to say he is that, but he does have that potential, and is similar in many ways to him. As of right now, I'm just crossing my fingers.

Amazes me that the team can excell just about everyting else but this stat. Got to wait too and see if there is someting that can materailze next season. For now suck!

Ekuban had some good moments last year, and has good talent. No one on that list thought looks like they can become a dominant player. It will probably be like last year with every getting 4 sacks or so, which isn't bad, if you can get consistent pressure. We didn't, though.

I agree with your thoughts, let me add.

Unless we get out of a LB featured D none will do much.

Not that we have anyone that can!

There you go thinking again. He is a man amoung boys in college played at Louisville against WHO?

At 5'11" 250lbs maybe, the OT in this league are gonna bury him. Unless we a gonna go to a 3-4 defense when he comes in. If they line him up and a down linemen he'll never make it out of TC.

He is now a boy amoung men.

Isn't a little premature to doubt him? Robert Mathis has done fine in Indianapolis, hasn't he?
