  • 2006 Shanny Files: Game 7

Another late week edition of the Shanny files.

The Broncos hold a 6-5 record under Shanny for their 7th game played on a season.

Of the Six Wins: Five were at home, One was away

Of the Five Losses: All five were on the road.

Last three seasons we lost on the road in game 7

2003 to the Vikings: Randy moss made a memorable catch and pitch in that game
2004 to the Bengals: A Monday night massacre with all of Cincy fired up
2005 to the Giants: A last minute improable loss to Eli Manning

So this year we have to make sure the other Manning doesn't get us.

Good thing is we are at home.

In the regular season under Shanny we have face the Colts 4 times. Twice home and twice away. We are 2-4 winning once at home and once in Indy, where Q Griffin went of the charts rushing and Denver dominated. Kind of made up for the snow game in Denver when Burlein was our QB and Vanderjerk, made a 50+ field goal in the snow to tie it, and another in OT to win it.

Post Season we have faced the Colts twice in Indy, and both times it did not work out well. So lets hope we get the W on the Colts and tighten the race for best record instead of given them a two game lead and head to head victory over us.

    Go Broncos!

      Two things.

1.) I really hope the offense can get it together starting with this game.

2.) I hope the hope teams winning streak is extended to 14 games.
      John 11: 25-27

Reading that I also remember those games. They did hurt. I just hope we aren't going to hurt once again.
