I hate it because they say Jake had "another ho-hum performance" and "played his way out of his job" which is total BS. His stats were better than most of the starting Quarterbacks last week, they only lost because our "ZOMG AMAXING" running backs teamed up for a grand total of 38 yards.

I think that description fits. Jake was slated to start the entire season, and Jay would then take over next year. Jake played his way out of a job. If he would have played well this year, we would hve enjoyed seeing Jay sit for the year. Blaming the other players on the team just don't cut it anymore, IMO.
