I was just checking and the Broncos have 4 AFC games left while the Dolphins have 3. We are currently 5-3 in the conference and the Dolphins are 5-4. If we somehow win all our AFC games we should still have a great shot at the playoffs. That would only leave the Packers game as meaningless.

It'll be an interesting end to the season.

Once again, thanks for your meaningful contribution. Your careful attention to detail in your explanations is second to none. Your use of facts in prognostications is truly convincing.

          Javalon

          hmm , speaking about facts.

Is it true that Shanahan has not taken the Broncos to the playoffs in a while?
They choked against Bills, VIkings, Chiefs, Bears ..........
Are u categorizing all those plays as freak plays and not facts?

            Well, at least you're trying.

            1) We didn't play the Bills this year.

            2) The Vikes game we were playing with our second-string and then third-string QB's, amongst several other key injuries. The Vikes were at home and undefeated. We still were driving for a possible tie at the end of the game.

            3) The Chiefs were at home where they have a fantastic home-field advantage. They're also arguably the best team in the league this year. And, if not for that questionable Hall punt return, we most likely score the upset. It was a great game but a single point loss.

            4) We flat out played poorly in all phases and the Bears defense played well. It was just one of those games.

Oh, I almost forgot your other point. We last went to the playoffs in the 2000 season. Yes, we have had a two season drought. We'll see about this season.

By the way, what team do you profess to be a fan of? I'd just like to know what evil influence is holding sway over your soul.
