No respect indeed. It is a real disgrace how Denver is looked at but we might as well face it some things will never change.

However the important thing is we as Broncos fans know how great that 98 team was, no doubt one of the 5 best ever nuff said!

This was their first year and I am sure they learned some lessons.

Yes. The NFL Network is in a "don't shoot the messenger" situation here.

The commity consisested of many personel from ESPN, Major Newpapers, NFL Net, Former Players, Former Coaches, and other "experts"

You can get an exact list from the America's Game site.

        http://ag.nfl.com/

Click on the link that says "Blue Ribbon Pannel"

It has names such as Steve Sabol, John Clayton, Tom Jackson, Peter King, and even Marty Ball.

This always gets me going. I watched ESPN top 10 Super Bowl teams of all-time and they didn't even have the Broncos but they had the 99 Rams. Some of you have mentioned the Broncos won 13 straight games in 1998 but what is most remarkable about that is that no returning Super Bowl team ever started the season like that. The closest was the 1990 S.F. 49ers who began 10-0. It is typical east coast biased. It gets really old. If the Patriots or any east coast team would of done what the Broncos did they would be talking about them as the greatest team of all time but instead the Broncos are left out.
          Broncos fans since age 6.
          Fanatical Broncos fan since 1991.

There will never be a Denver team like the 98 team IMO They were the BEST! But Mark Schelerth (sp) just admitted to peeing in his pants in the huddle all the time or when he had to go. Never knew that! BTW, watching the 98 BRONCOS on NFL Network at the moment

Why are you so angry that there are Browns in the HOF? Every single Brown in the HOF deserves to be there. They are as follows:

                  Cleveland Browns (15)

                  JIM BROWN (1971) - 1957-1965
                  PAUL BROWN (1967) - 1946-1962
                  JOE DELAMIELLEURE (2003) - 1980-1984
                  LEN FORD (1976) - 1950-1957
                  FRANK GATSKI (1985) - 1946-1956
                  OTTO GRAHAM (1965) - 1946-1955
                  LOU GROZA (1974) - 1946-1959, 1961-1967
                  LEROY KELLY (1994) - 1964-1973
                  DANTE LAVELLI (1975) - 1946-1956
                  MIKE MCCORMACK (1984) - 1954-1962
                  BOBBY MITCHELL (1983) - 1958-1961
                  MARION MOTLEY (1968) - 1946-1953
                  OZZIE NEWSOME (1999) - 1978-1990
                  PAUL WARFIELD (1983) - 1964-1969, 1976-1977
                  BILL WILLIS (1977) - 1946-1953

Every single one of them deserves to be in the HOF and I don't know what your problem is with them.
The Browns are gone; I'm not a fan of the Impostors

The real Browns are in Baltimore, see?

And a ton more that completely deserve it:
                      Floyd Little
                      Steve Atwater
                      Karl Mecklenburg
                      TD
                      Gradishar
                      Zimmerman

And Sharpe will be in, Rod complely deserves it (UNDRAFTED!), Champ (i'd rather have him than Deion), Lynch (He's a partial Bronco, even if he's "really" a Buc), and who knows....

But the Broncos have been totally snubbed. For the Browns. And the Mfking Raiders.

But to be on topic, the 1998 team was AMAZING. and they were ours. That is just so special for some reason. It seemed like it was really us out there. That team belonged to Denver and eachother.

The Broncos are missing "something" as of now that the 1998 team had. I hope we get it back.

The 1997 team will be on the America's Team countdown too, so its not complete disrespect. We have two teams listed in the top 20 of all time, that is not bad. I think we deserve it. I would like to see the 98 team ranked higher, but we will see where the 97 team ranks. Definately should be top 10, hopefully top 5

whats amazing is TD missed 8 quarters because he was pulled. He would have obliterated the all time rushing mark. There is so many what if, god it hurts thinking about all of them. This team should have been top 3. If one of those cowboy teams is top 3 that is such a crock of $%^!
One more thing that sticks out about this team was the next year. I believe we could have been the first 3 peat with out a doubt if elway camwe back. His retirement was bitter sweet.
