The only leftovers from the Super Bowl team are Von and McManus. Von will likely not be back in 2021 unless he's willing to take a drastic pay cut. That means that entering 2021, all the players the Broncos have drafted from 2016 onward only know losing in the NFL. That's such a toxic, incurable situation that only changes when everything is blown up and the Broncos start from square-one.

4 losses right there....we can only lose like 3 more that would put us at 9-7 season and im being modest.
We badly need an owner, GM, HC, OC, QB, and several key position players before we return to any level of competitive again. Elway being what he is likely means we lose Harris, possibly Simmons, and who knows how many more that want to play for winning teams.

Exactly and we should expect a 6th losing season

I guess if you're frozen in that time only and don't care what the Broncos look like now, you're probably all good. The JE fan club posters on here refuse to hold him accountable. This mess is 100% Elway's, coaches, players and record for past 5 years. You can spin it any way you want but it is what it is. We're a bottom dweller multi-year losing team that's barely competitive. That's how legacies are remembered. Just ask Matt Millen.

The offense's inability to consistently score points this late into the season has nothing to do with Covid-19 or injuries.

Here's the bottom line...if the plan is to cycle the exact same players, coaching staff, and front office next season, then don't expect anything different than what we saw last year, what we've seen this year, or what we've seen over the better part of 5 seasons now.
I agree. They run this coulda should woulda into the ground. Von was loss before the season started get over it. Sutton was loss in the 1st game get over it. At the end day you are what your record says you are.

Let's not act like injuries and coivd didn't not affect all 32 teams. Im done with all the excuses.

I dont have my #1 so I can't put up 20 pts in games.

Half the guys playing right now are second string or much worse. Name me a team that had these types of issues and is doing well. 49ers have had it about as bad as us and...oh look about the same record and they were just in the superbowl.

With everything that happened I feel this is just a wasted season. I wanted this season to be used for finding out if lock is the real deal or not but now its just a throwaway season and we have to watch him play again next year. I dont think he will ever be good but its still possible I guess.
Lmao Sutton is the 2 best player on the team bow woooow.....News flash Sutton had "1" good season. Yall acting like this man was a 4 year pro bowler like a wr can never regress.

Boyue is not injured he is suspended.
Again outside of Sutton he offenseis in tact. Stop act like lock and Sutton has had years playing together and have a great relationship. Im not saying we should be a playoff team but better than we are now. Lock is doing what his was in college beating up on sorry teams and dis appear vs good teams. Even when we win its only by one td vs even the sorry teams lol.

2016: “we just won the Super Bowl and lost Peyton.”
2017: “Vance Joseph is new, give him time.”
2018: “we need to find a QB”
2019: “give Lock and Fangio time to grow”
2020: “COVID and injuries cost us the season.”

how many more losing seasons before people see through Elway’s failure!
    Preach!!!!! Agree 100%
