      I saw it on ESPN back in '98 at around 2:00 in the morning if a remember right, i know im a sick bastard for staying up that late to watch a preseason game but i dont care.

            um...im sorry but i think that pre-season game was in 1995 when TD was a rookie.

            98 is when we went to the superbowl and TD wasnt a rookie.

            just wanted to point that out.

                    yes, that was a typo on my part, sorry, Saturday August 5 1995 was the date i belive, i dont even think it was called the American Bowl then, i think that came the next year.

                      that was BEAUTIFUL. i saw that on the NFL Network and hit record on tivo immediately. i havent seen that hit in such a long time. one of my favorite plays of all-time. the only hit i think i like more is eddy mac's block in XXXII. pointed at the LB on the way down, that was just awesome.

                          yeah I saw it on America's Game when they were featuring the 98 Broncos, and they were talking about how TD wanted to go home before that preseason game because he was doing so poorly and with that hit, he made the team pretty much
