Can never have too many good corners. This is great news. I like the way this offseason is shaping up.

strange to me that its a 1 year deal.... i expected a 2 or 3 year deal.

could mean a cb being drafted earlier

Love this signing! Only further strengthens our secondary. What’re peoples thoughts on moving Ojemudia to safety? He has good size and showed to be pretty physical, and would be a plus-coverage guy at the position.

Fuller / Callahan / Simmons / Ojemudia / Darby looks like a super solid nickel defense. Maybe Will Parks will be brought back as well for depth. I believe we still have Trey Marshall and Duke Dawson, too. I think this signing eliminates a CB at 9, but only gives us another option with a premium pick. I like what George has done so far.

Next, I wonder if we’re going to show interest in Akiem Hicks.

Yeah. It's a one year deal for a guy who just turned 29. Don't get me wrong, I'm in favor of it as he seems to be well worth the price and it's an upgrade. But this doesn't take CB off the menu at #9 as far as I'm concerned.

This is very important as it gives us draft options, especially if The Broncos go after a QB early. I preferred we didn't, but may have to. But now I can sleep knowing our Dbackfield is in really good shape, and I say that knowing we might still draft one or two. But all the mocks have us taking one at #9, and maybe now we use for a QB or another position of need, or BPA period!

Wow...Fuller as first team All Pro in '18, and Simmons is easily one of the best Safeties in football.

I was hoping for a Watson/Wilson type ending, but they may never be. And outside of QB (which may be an early pick), I want an ILB, Oliner, RB, another Edge specialist, Dback and DT too. FA may help solve some of this.

There are something like 3 CB's that look to be worth the #9 pick. I also like Micah Parsons and maybe Kwity Paye. When asked about that pick Paton said he'd take the BPA even if it turns out to be a QB. I'm hoping the same is true for any position although I don't think it would be smart to grab a Tackle that high.

It's a small cap year. A lot of FA's are going to sign on for 'prove it' deals.

How I saw it. Prove it deal, might get 2yr deal later if all goes well...fingers crossed.

I like Parsons! I keep visualizing how The Bucs' LBs started to dominate, and I think it's time for this D to rise above. The makings of a top tier D are there. We got Chubb and Von still. We have a solid Dbackfield. I would just like a little more strength up the middle.

But yeah, if we don't go QB in round one, I am excited to see us go BPA. Early round BPAs give key competitive advantage...even if you are not in need. You can make deals down the road, and it never hurts to have extra talent!

Big ticks so far for this new administration, what is next ? Hopefully a linebacker to get Josey Jewell off the field, and onto finally allocating a high round pick to a worthy offensive lineman. Positive signs so far.
