Not a fan of this decision. Longevity with the team should matter.

    I guess it’s understandable though.

I get where you are coming from and I don't think that there is anything 'wrong' with feeling that way. The guy did have an incredible impact on our franchise though during his time here so I don't have a problem with putting him in the ROF.

Tell that to whoever decided to induct John Lynch.

Congrats, PFM. Love what he had to say after it became official. I'm assuming it's in the link, but here's a copy:

“I’m incredibly honored to be named to the Broncos Ring of Fame,” Manning said. “Having been on the field when other members of the Ring of Fame have been inducted, you can tell what a special fraternity it is and how excited they are to join such a distinguished group. From Floyd Little to Karl Mecklenburg to Steve Atwater to many others, I’ve always looked up at the names around the stadium and admired the great players the Broncos have had over the years. I’m very humbled to now join them as a Ring of Famer.

“When I came to Denver back in 2012, it was exactly how I thought it would be — a franchise with a winning tradition and incredible fan support in a great community. There were a lot of unknowns coming off an injury with a new team. Once I got my confidence, we went on a heckuva run and never looked back. That’s a credit to the many great teammates and coaches I had during my time with the Broncos. The chemistry with D.T. (Demaryius Thomas), Eric Decker, Wes Welker, Emmanuel Sanders and all those guys on offense was special. Winning the Super Bowl in 2015, we had an all-time defense and a really fun group with Von (Miller), Aqib (Talib), DeMarcus (Ware) and some other outstanding players. It ended up being a great decision to come here not only to play for the Broncos but to be part of this special community. Denver is a destination city. Our family is proud to call Denver our home and live in this community even after football. I’m very appreciative and grateful for my time with the Broncos. It’s a tremendous honor to be named to the Denver Broncos Ring of Fame.”

Congrats to PFM! I can't imagine the Broncos making it to the two SB's without him. Even if the D was the reason for the win, can't imagine the Broncos success without Peyton for those four short years.

I don’t think Lynch should be in either.

I’m not sure Lynch belongs in the HOF.

I guess if the Broncos are going to have Lynch in the ROF, they pretty much have to put Manning in. So be it.

Riley Odoms needs to be in the ROF.

Using your logic, Terrell Davis doesn't make Denver's Ring of Fame.
Davis did play for eight years, but only played in 17/64 games during his last four years.

Sometimes it's not about length of service, but impact/value.
Manning's four years in Denver were iconic.

I'm a fan of both Davis and Manning spots in Denver's Ring of Fame but we can agree to disagree.

                      There are always exceptions.

                      Davis was a Bronco.

Manning was a Colt who played for the Broncos.

I did say it was understandable that Manning would be inducted. That was even before being reminded about Lynch.

If Tripucka is in, I think PFM deserves to be as well.

I would vote for Odoms to be in the ROF.

I'm not sure if he's eligible yet but Gary Kubiak should be in the ROF. I'd also like to see Eddie Mac in. Do either Talib or Chris Harris deserve to be in the ROF when their time comes?
