Yeah, it's blank for me too on occasion, which is strange considering I posted it.

Only reason I mentioned Tebow was because of how many of the posters seem to really dislike him.
It does matter for the topic, as Von literally said "Since 18 was here" meaning he's not referring to anyone before Manning was the QB of the Broncos.

      • Go with me on this guys. Each win we get I'm doing the supastrut and will upload the vid. Now someone who is tech savvy. Ahem, because that's not me should make a vid of all broncos country across the globe of doing the supastrut at the end of each win we get this year.

Let's get together and show that support for Teddy and the broncos! I'll upload mine should we win tomorrow!!! Maybe that'll be funny for the guys to see all of us supporting the team!
        :go:

Did you post a video from social media, like Instagram or Twitter or Facebook? My browser will block a lot of those because of security issues.

Yeah - it was from the Broncos' Twitter page.

            • Stories are nice. Locker room friendship is cute. Last week’s effort were great. Let’s see him do it again. Teddy B’s got a lot to prove that he can compete in the AFCW.

              • The reports of Teddy only taking check downs were greatly exaggerated. I’m pleasantly surprised by his mobility and willingness to take shots downfield.

                • Teddy has really, I mean really impressed me. I bought into the “check down” story and Teddy has smashed that label. Yes he takes check downs when necessary but can also stretch the field.

I know we’ve only played two games, against two bad teams, but this is the best QB play we’ve had since Manning left.

If he continues with this level of play, our defense stays stout, and injuries don’t pile up, we’re headed to the playoffs.

                  • No doubt, our starter is the right guy to start.

                    • Pocket awareness is invaluable and can't be taught. It's like he's got eyes in the back of his head.

                      • Everybody loves winning.....everybody loves good QB play and im pleasantly surprised in Teddy. Im not going to freak out and say we have our QB of the future here though. We've beaten 2 terrible teams and we're about to play a 3rd terrible team. After the Jets, it gets real and IF he can continue the winning i'll be here to admit my wrong opinion on Teddy.

                        • Bottom line is he’s played very well and very consistently so far. If he continues to show this much consistency throughout the season, I really don’t see a need to replace him for 2022.

I’m very interested to see how he plays for the entirety of the season. There’s a long way to go and a lot can happen, but so far he’s beat my expectations.

TB was the quarterback for teams (Vikings, Panthers) with a HoF talent at running back...that then got injured or suspended. The focus on the running game and in-season remake of the offense after the injury/suspension issues may have distorted his passing patterns and created this checkdown artist belief about him. Even before the injury/suspension issues with Christian McCaffrey and Adrian Peterson, the offenses were designed to run the ball on first and second down. It's then the QB's job to pass for a first down if it's 3rd and 5 or 3rd and 6 when the first two running plays didn't get enough yardage, which leads to a lot of short passes. Additionally, teams that are designed to run the ball well tend to have O-lines that run-block better than they pass-block, as the linemen with physiques that are good at the first are usually not good at the second and vice versa (strength/size vs. athleticism). So when the QB has to pass, he has little time to throw because the run-blocking specialists who must now pass-block for him aren't going to give him enough time to hit receivers downfield on long-developing plays.

He’s doing well. I think the main issue I have is that he is going to demand such a high price tag as a free agent next off season, it’s really unlikely that he would be back and where do we go from there. Not to poke a bear, but would you rather be rolling right now with a one year wonder or developing a long term young guy?

Teddy’s great and all, but nobody’s picking us to go deep in the playoffs. So he’s going to do just well enough to take us out of contention for a high draft pick. So our quarterback next year is…?

Juxtapose that with the hypothetical that we could have landed Fields and how does that look? Maybe you would prefer our current situation, I’m not sure I do.
To permit irresponsible authority is to sell disaster. (Heinlein)...like Broncos season tickets!

If he continues to play like this... would you not want him back?

Do you not think he'd want to continue to play in a system that he succeeds in?

Nobody is picking us to go deep in the playoffs because it's still early. If he continues to play like this though, that could easily change.
