That makes some real sense although it may not be in the cards. I think he would settle comfortably in NO, and give them some hope.

Without Demarcus Ware, Von has been unproductive and isn’t a real leader. This is good for the Broncos.

To be a career Bronco, you need to show heart and leadership every season, like Rod Smith. Von hasn’t shown either in years.

You could probably add Kareem Jackson to that list as well

You’re probably right I see a huge fire sale coming. Time to start the rebuild now.

I'm sure Von who, has been doing a lot of non-glamourous read and reacting, covering LBs, Spying Qbs, instead of being allowed to pin his ears back and go after the QB the last 2 seasons (he played)... has been seen as a leader and good teammate for doing all that without us ever hearing any discontent through the medias. All while playing pretty damn well even though he won't get the credit because he's doing what is asked of him and not stacking stats.

Good luck to Von with the Rams.

It's unfortunate he couldn't end his career with the Broncos, but players staying with one team is a rarity in today's NFL.

A 2nd and a 3rd is more than I thought they'd get, to be honest.

Do they really have any real value in that type of trade though. End of the 2nd and 3rd picks?

Any significant trades as you propose will be taking the Bronco’ 1st rounders and beginning with f each rd picks.

More likely these are the “replacement player” the FO will be putting on the field.

Sorry to see Miller go. Not just his Bronco legacy but as confirmation that the FO has quit on the season as much as the coaches and players.

Von will always be one of my faves, and count on him keeping home in Denver and being a part of the Bronco's family the rest of his life. But this move is a smart business move for both sides. I sincerely hope that Von gets to the SB this year and gets another ring. I had a strong feeling a trade was in the works when he did not suit up Sunday, that they kept him out so as not to damage the goods. Wish him nothing but the best. LA is getting a man of honor and quality. A Mile high salute to you sir! This also solves his contract expiring at end of year too.

It is indeed time to start a rebuild, but again, let's settle ownership!

                        Dang..
                        It finally happened.
                        a 2nd and 3rd doesn't seen to bad.
We've hit on a few 2nd and 3rds over the past few years, so let's hope that continues.

Hopefully one day when he decides to hang em up, he comes back for a 1day contract to retire as a bronco.

                        The youth movement has started.
I believe this will ultimately lead to Lock playing sometime during this season, and us going HARD for a QB in the offseason.

A big mile high salute to you, Mr. Miller.
                        Best of luck in LA

Why not, seems like a fairly reasonable trade, and he'll do well on the Rams

Sad day for certain, but it was a business move that needed to be made. The value was really good for the player.

I hate this business, but if I am looking out for the Broncos franchise this deal needed to get done.

I see it this way…. If we had a real coaching staff he might have retired as a bronco finished career here. I put this on the horrible coaching of fangio
