We are getting some attention from the pundits. More than just the occasional highlight too. Even Esiason (whom I rarely agree with), stated that our defense is championship level good. Not so sure I would go that far, too often we give up chunk plays that we shouldnt. But to even hear that kind talk about us, is a nice change.

I don't have to say it, but our guys are pumped, and a win would be huge!!
This game stands as the biggest on the remaining schedule. We win here, we go into the final stretch tied for the division lead, and holding tiebreakers (for the moment) over both the chiefs and chargers.

And it would be nice to beat Mahomes. I dont think we have ever done that.

      Potential statement game.

(all that said, I do not like our chances at all, but it is really nice to be talking about meaningful playoff level games in december being played by the Broncos for the first time in a long time).

          I concur.

At some point it's no longer about stats and even recent history. Because one never knows how a team of many individuals will come out on any given day. Some teams are definitely more predictable, but we are not that easy to gauge just yet. But most of it all is smoke, because when these two teams step onto that field, they both will expect a victory. We may be the underdog, but our guys have just come off a sweet victory, and are feeling some gel, and much optimism. And our boyz know that a win gives us a tie for the win lead in our division, and will better place us for a wild card if that's what's left.

So I feel like the pressure is all on them, and we're looking forward to the battle. I would not be surprised if we won.

It's the loss to the Browns that really pisses me off, and generally how poorly we played against the Raiders at home.

Regardless, I am shocked that we have 6 wins and are still playing games that matter.

I also fully agree with the posters above, this record is despite the attrocious* coaching.

            * = overstating a tiny bit, and I do mean tiny
It's worse that we lost to the Eagles. Especially since the Eagles offense was shut down by the bad and injury riddled Giants defense yesterday.

Giants had no problem shutting down Hurts and Smith....unlike Surtain and our defense. It's embarrassing and yesterday does nothing to make me forget about that. It was a wasted opportunity.

And the Browns game? Couldn't beat Keenum and a 3rd string running back.

We have no room for error the rest of the season because of those losses.

Yesterday proved they only play hard when they feel like it. Other times, they don't care, they're just looking to collect a game check. And that's because of our ineptitude and no one is held accountable for their failures.

Even if by some miracle the Broncos make the playoffs, they need to clean house with this coaching staff.

As long as we have Fangio and Co., I don't want Denver to ever draft a QB. They will ruin their career.....

So I will ask again. Why, as a Broncos fan, do you have a problem with a SN game? Unless I am misreading, this is one of the most confusing fan posts I've ever seen. And I would say this to anyone who posts here. Like I say, there's always the chance I misunderstand.

I’m prone to agree. I just think that Jones might have been able to fit into Shurmur’s offense.

We lost against teams who stink. We’re not a good team. I love the Broncos. But let’s be real we lost to Pittsburg,Philly and Washington. Unless we win out another losing season.

Last post on the page....it's the nonsense like that I have to put up with.

Would have been nice to shut them up for 4 years.
Eagles fans are trash. Just rest in the knowledge that everyone outside of the Philadelphia area knows that and we all see them for what they are. That was not a fun day though.

As for the Chargers game, we really dominated them. Things are really starting to come together. Our rookies are really looking good and contributing weekly so hats off to Paton for a great draft. Our two LB trade acquisitions have also been great additions. I have to admit that I've been wrong about Bridgewater. He really has shown leadership and the team looks much better when he is on the field. I've always wanted to see Lock play for an entire season to see how he does but that INT before halftime was the last straw for me. It completely changed the momentum in the game and it was kind of a typical Lock mistake. I have no idea what he saw or why he threw the ball but it did show me why Bridgewater is the starting QB. We're now 6-5 and in great shape for a playoff push. This week's game is the most difficult game we have in the last 6 weeks and it would be amazing to go in there and get a win. It's been a few years since I've had any amount of confidence heading into Arrowhead. I truly HATE the Chefs so winning this one would really make me happy!

We tried to loose to Washington....but we really did win.

The NFL Flexed the game. They feel it should be primetime.

Bottom line is we get a chance to do something special this week.

                              1. Win and get to 1st place in the division. I think we could technically be tied with the Chargers as we would both have 2-1 div record but we beat them.
                              2. End a 11 game losing streak vs KC.

Also beating KC in KC is a very big thing in itself.

There may be some on here who will never be happy but that would be HUGE for me.

This is one of the reasons the NFL is so fun...even with all the crap we have gone through this year we are still in a place to take 1st place in the division! Then if we go climb that hill we get 4 div games in the last 6 games to defend that hill!

                              I am excited.

I had the Broncos at 9-8 with a 2 game swing on the down side. Beating KC puts the Broncos in that range, so let this game be the one to make it happen.

This team has a tendency to let down following a good win, like the let down after the win against the Cowboys. I’m keeping expectations realistic and hoping for the best. Until the Broncos prove they can beat their big brother they haven’t done anything.
