Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Pederson is one of the few “retreads” that I would view as an acceptable hire. He’s not at the top of my list, but I wouldn’t be furious with that hire. I thought he had a good thing going with the Eagles. Won a SB against the hated Pats. Decent resume. Works well with QBs. Offensive minded coach. I’d be ok with him.
I like Doug Pederson. I would love to see him in Denver. I was looking to see what was going on with him a couple days back and looked like he was interviewing with the Jags. I thought it was stupid how his time ended in Philly. They are looking at letting Wentz move on and he plays Hurts to see what he's got. What's wrong with that. I think he cost the Giants a playoff spot or something, because people thought he wasn't playing to win since he didn't go with his starter.... maybe I got it wrong, but I thought the whole thing was stupid.
I always love that the Eagles didn't practice any plays they had planned when practicing in the same place as the patsies for SB. I love how aggressive he was, going for two instead of the extra point so often. I would take him. Yes, please.
OK....some positives and some no thanks. The one thing for sure is that we'd be more exciting on O. And when he was there, they had a pretty good D. Not all because of him of course, but still, he won the big one.
Yes. I'd be fine if we got him. Who knows maybe he could work magic with Lock like he did with Foles.
Lot of QB turmoil after Carson got hurt in 2017 and he managed that well. Can you imagine how tough managing the next season was? Your young phenom is healthy but the QB who just won you a Super Bowl is still on the roster and a backup? He still managed to fight his way into the playoffs again.
Hoping whoever we get has a good touch with QB's because they're likely going to have to develop a rookie next year.
I like Pederson. He's a head coach who won a superbowl with a backup QB. Why wouldnt you want a coach like that. Yes, of course something happened with him in Philly, but that should be vetted by the Broncos before hiring him. From where I sit, he looks like the best coach out there right now.
I hope so.the way he mismanaged the QBs in Philly was not good. Quite crappy to be honest.
You mean how he managed a rookie QB to have a really good year, followed by another better year, only to be sidelined by injury, in which a backup QB took over late in the season and led the team to a championship?
Oh yeah, he clearly has some HC deficiencies with QBs.
