I rave about this guy, but my goodness, once again chosen for second team All-Pro!! That's 2 of the last 3 seasons. Lofty status.

We are very fortunate to have a Safety with such talent, who is likely to be around for a long time. Pair him with the new kid, Surtain at CB, and you have a solid base for the D backfield...yes, for a lengthy period.

Thanks Justin. Not just for the football skills, but for all you do off the field as well. Face of the team in my books.

Simmons was a steady presence for us all season and showed why he deserved the extension. I can only think of one bad play this season where he and KJax had a miscommunication that led to a deep TD against the Ravens. Other than that, he was terrific as a blitzer and coming up in the run game while still being a ballhawk in the secondary. Seems like he's had a good influence on Sterns as well. One day he'll get that 1st-team All-Pro.

This isn't going to come off as great, but keep in mind I really like Simmons, am happy for his success, and am glad he's on the Broncos. It's kinda hard to get excited about a Safety probably being your best player. Especially when Safety play in the league is experiencing a low point.

It's ok, but there were 5 Safeties in the entire world that made All-Pro. Pretty special achievement.
