2022 was an outlier in RW's career. He looked overweight and had some nagging injuries as well. In 2023 he will be better, worse or the same. Playing in Sean Payton's offense will make a big difference. We shall see,"Stultum est timere quod vitare non potes." ~ Publilius Syrus👍 1Comment

There were enough good moments from RW last year that I haven't given up hope. He certainly had a bad season and there is plenty of blame to be placed on him. Still, judging by his overall career and some of the play he exhibited last year, I have hope he will be an effective QB and the offense will be WAY better than last year.👍 3Comment

I agree with many of the comments that the coaching incompetence led to many of the flaws with Wilson and the overall offense.
But I also continue to hold Wilson accountable. There was a reason he burned some bridges in Seattle. There were some cringe worthy diva moments from him last season. There were poor decisions and plays by Wilson on the field. There is a reason he reportedly came into this year’s camp lighter and in great shape. IMO he took last year too lightly and for granted.
My issues go back to trading for him in the first place. One of the biggest strengths of his career has been his mobility. He is not getting any younger. He has never been a traditional pocket passer type QB. Trying to become one to extend his career is a risk. It is not his “ normal”. He has to adjust as a player. Not just the coaches creating an offense to best suit him as he figures it out.
I will keep saying it. Wilson has a lot to prove this season.👍 2Comment

I'll happily eat crow if Wilson turns it around and puts in a top 10 performance this year... Hell I'd settle for a second quartile performance... just can't see it happeningComment

I would hope he is capable of improving on last years underwhelming performances.

Totally agree that Wilson carries his fair share of the blame and he has a lot to prove. I'm just trying to look at the positives and possibilities of the SP and RW combo. We're stuck with RW, so I'm simply hoping for the best. I think there's evidence that RW can rebound, but he still has to prove it on the field."Stultum est timere quod vitare non potes." ~ Publilius Syrus👍 3Comment

RW came into Spring workouts in shape. He can run what SP calls and is sufficiently experienced to recognize and process what he sees. The O-Line has been upgraded and will have adequate depth. There is a lot of competition in the RB and WR rooms which will identify the best suited guys for the roster. Denver's PS should have a good group of promising young players to develop. Am looking forward to it.👍 3Comment

Last season’s debacle was a Hackett/Wilson combination.
I think Wilson is learning the hard way that he wasn’t being held back in Seattle like he thought. You're Wrong!

Well the bar is not set that high, if RW has a good year, and looks have way decent, it will be better then last year.

I think Russ will be helped by having SP, but I do not think he is the QB he was 10 years ago. Russ will be 35 in November and his best days are behind him.
I see the Broncos improved, but still the 3rd best team in that division. No hate, just honesty.
I'm sure someone will fire back with how the Packers will never win another game without Aaron. You think I have never heard that hater narrative? Please...
J-Love just has to be marginally better than the complete crap show Aaron put on last season and the Pack win 10+ games this season. Yes, Aaron is 100% the reason the Pack didn't make the playoffs last season. 100% Go watch the final game of the season vs. the Lions and tell me what the problem was.
Will be interesting to watch both the Broncos and Pack this season. I think the league is actually sleeping on both teams. Do I feel the Packers are the stronger roster? Yes, yes I do.
Should be a fun season!

Ummm, I asked "Samparnell" why he brought up October 22nd. Simple question. No "smack" in my comment.
Please explain why post a date of a game and nothing else. What was his intent? A guarantee? Why I asked. It was an odd post.
I even made it clear that no one on gods green earth would take anything I wrote as a hot take nor "smack talk."
