Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Matt Stafford was 0-3 in the postseason before last year, how did that work out again?
We have not made the playoffs in 6 seasons. You cannot win a Superbowl if you dont make the playoffs.
He has made playoffs 80% of his career.
He is 9-7 all time in the playoffs, with a SB title and 2 conference championships.
Wilson gives us the best chance to win since Manning was here period!
Matt Stafford never won a playoff game and then went to the Rams won 4 in a row and a Superbowl. That completely destroys your argument of Wilson's playoff record.
Does that mean Wilson will do the same? Of course not but it does make the case that a QB who hasnt won can turn things around in the right situation.
Denver gave away ZERO picks/players to get Manning - huge difference.
Using a consistent comparable of 5 appearances in the playoffs before signing with Denver:
Manning 6-4
Wilson 3-5
Manning was 2-4 in his last 6 games and was cut by the Colts because he had just missed an entire season due to 4 neck surgeries. Denver and 8-8 team brought him in and turned things around.
That is what a franchise QB like Wilson brings.
I believe Wilson will have a bigger impact this season than T Charles Cross and DE Boye Mafe.

5 last playoff appearances Manning was 6-4 before signing with the Broncos with NO draft picks/players traded.
5 last playoff appearances Wilson was 3-5 before singing with the Broncos with a boatload of draft picks/players.
If things didn’t work out with Manning the Broncos had their draft picks. If Wilson doesn’t deliver a SB championship as Manning did, the Broncos will have lost a significant amount of draft picks for a young franchise quarterback and multiple high round picks.
Wilson has to appear in a minimum of two Super Bowls and win one of them in the next four years. If not he’s a failure compared to Manning.
Now that you put Manning in the conversation be prepared to have Wilson meet or exceed his results:
2012 AFC West Title
2013 AFC West Champion and AFC Champion
2014 AFC West Title
2015 AFC West Title, AFC Champion and Super Bowl Champion

Matt Stafford was 0-3 before being traded to the Rams and then going 4-0 with a SB win. Doubt the Rams are worried about the picks they have up.
