Penner said they were going to interview Evero but he and Hackett have been friends for over 2 decades, so it makes sense he wouldn't want the interim job.

Isnt it funny how Hackette (and others) shows just how much they really care about being a fan of the Broncos once they are fired?
I would think that they would be totally devastated that they have been a 15 week fan of the Broncos and the Broncos will always be in their hearts forever.
They hire these strangers who couldn't really care less a out the team, maybe just their reputation, but that doesnt really matter either,
they still a lifetime membership in the NFL

He said a lot about player lead teams being the key to winning. Looking back now I wonder how much of Hackett's problem was allowing Rodgers to take over the offense and being in control instead of the OC.

I agree good leaders on the team are important. The problem is the head coach needs to have a good plan and be in control. A good head coach needs to be in control yet have leaders that lead within the plan of the head coach. It is not easy to be leading strong personalities. There is more than one way to do it. The very best leaders figure it out.

It really is surreal how bad everything went last year. Starting with training glamp and it just went downhill from there. The more I think about it, the more I'm just blown away by how bad it was at every level. What an utter failure.
