The Head coach is abandoning ship cause he mortgaged the near future to win a SB. The only job its better than is Houston, barely. Donald is retiring if McVay leaves so, that is one franchise that will need one amazing coach to not suck for a few years.

Rams may be the top choice for potential HC candidates, for nothing else, didn't have to deal with Wilson, his limited skill sets, and his entourages.

2022 draft is over with. Broncos have a first round pick and two 3rds this year. Rams have a 2nd and the 3rd. And in 2024, Broncos will have all their picks.

Broncos are also in better shape in regards to the salary cap.

Russ and Stafford are both 34 but Stafford is coming off a spinal cord contusion injury.

No one mortgaged the future more than the Rams, and it paid off. And despite your hatred for Russ, there's still a chance it could work out for Denver too.

Not sure of the logic in thinking the Rams are in better shape at the moment.

    Statistically untrue.
While it is statistically true that the largest growth trend in Colorado reached its peak in 2018
and the growth trend has declined each year since then, there is still a growth trend toward Colorado.
The numbers in Colorado(10-25k range) increase, do not compare with the losses in California (300k+ range)
Check state census facts for further research.
Also, be aware that health issues (covid-19 & delta) and job markets tend to move people domestically as well as border issues.

None of these issues should be a major factor for a head coach making millions of dollars.
Although, warmer or cooler climates could be a minor factor in those types of decisions.
Team evaluation and capacity for success should be major considerations for any proven coach.
Those things are better evaluated by the coaches themselves that the fan base.

What are you talking about? Colorado's population has grown every year since 1945. The growth has slowed the last 2 years but there are still more people moving in than moving out.

    Kingsbury fired.

The vacancies are growing as they tend to do.

I don't see Saturday earning the job in Indy.

before this year the Chargers definitely were at an all time low in fans.

maybe this year they get more fans with playoffs.

Thing about LA is they want Championships. They spoiled with Dodgers and Lakers. People root for the Clippers even when they make the playoffs but LA area fans always pick the Lakers because of the success.

Moving the Chargers to LA was a bad move imo. I like it personally. In 2021 Charger tickets went under $20. This year I saw tickets under $30.

The Rams would have done better but made a big move with the Ring last year. Even that will only last so long in LA tho. It is kind of weird how dedicated LA fans are to the Lakers and Dodgers but have never really supported any football team like the NFL wants. The Raiders were probably the most supported team but because a lot of that support was from lower income fans I do not think the NFL cares as much.

People/business leave because of the cost of living yes but it is not the only reason.

When jobs leave the state so do the people.

The NFL will probably keep its teams in California but I can fully understand why someone may not want to manage people in California.
