    Paton.

    So many bad decisions

    - Passing on a franchise QB in Fields for a DB. Yes PS is incredible but his trade/pic value is lower, QB is the most important position and was a need.

    - Teddy Wastewater

    - BS about bringing in Aaron

    - Wilson’s STUPID STUPID contract

    etc

    etc

It wasn’t just Hackett. Wilson wanted to play in that offense, he just couldn’t play in it. The entire season is soiled with plays that could have been made but weren’t because Wilson couldn’t throw the ball to a wide open receiver in the middle of the field.

I've said it a 100 times this year. Wilson does not get a pass, he played absolutely terrible this year. But, there is a huge But. What ever Hackett was trying to implement just did not resonate with not only Wilson but all the skill players. Albert O was benched a month into the season and Jerry resurrected him the last few weeks? Was Albert really that bad or was it poor coaching? Any player and fan will agree that coaching matters and game planning and preparation is key to success

Wilson was a part of what Hackett was trying to implement. Hackett didn’t force his offense on RW. They are both to blame.

Justin Fields has a ways to go. He can run the ball but he’s supposed to be a QB first and foremost.

Not for many moons or until Pat retires or gets traded out of the division.

                Wrong.

Fields was the most accurate passer in the NCAA in his last two seasons. He’s a pocket QB that has an elite running ability. He’s always been pass first.

His completion percentage was 60% on the year behind a garbage offensive line; it’s been one of the bottom 3 in the league.

Now let’s talk about his “weapons” or lack thereof.

It’s easy math; he holds the ball too long because crap WRs that can’t separate, and he is quick to tuck and run due to a crap O-line.

He’s always been a pass-first QB until, unfortunately, being drafted by a team lacking talent, lousy coaching, etc.

                Russell Wilson

Surtain is 1st team all pro and Fields was voted to what??? Fields is not (currently) a franchise QB. Can he be? Sure? Maybe? Trade value is whoever is willing to give up needed to aquire said player.

Right now Fields value isn't any higher than PS2's is. No team will trade multiple 1st's for Justin right now. He has to prove he can win and who is drafting number 1 right now? I'm tired of hearing about Fields. As it stands right now PS2 was absolutely the better pick....end of story

Justin Fields hasn't done diddly poo yet.

                      He's got a terrible QBR, I think????

Nothing special, just yet, That's for sure.

Hackett was the problem in 2022. Sources I trust that put effort into researching their opinion and spend time breaking down Bronco film have said over and over his offense was extremely flawed.

Now 2022 was awful. It does not get that bad without many people being involved.

Hackett being gone and us getting just about any other "qualified" candidate is reason to have some hope imo

PS is amazing, but Teddy Bridgewater is making more than Ramsey, who’s better. So, no.

Also the staff bankrupted the future for a broken down Russ, they could have Fields on a rookie contract and draft to fill the MANY needs.

Wilson was part of the problem no doubt.

I do think a lot of the negative Wilson and Team3 reporting was essentially drama based reporting with little or no research to support.

Lot of people in the media know drama sells easier than well researched takes with supporting sources and data.

Can we get past Ohio State fans thinking Fields is some sort of savior? If you want to be pissed about not drafting Josh Allen or Parsons I'll listen but Fields has done
nothing - glad we didn't draft him (dodged bullet) and he's nothing more than additional name to a bad list of QBs since Manning.
