  • Big name on trade block?

Apparently there is a big name player on the block...any suggestions on who? I'm guessing Bolles? Simmons?

Scrolling down a bit this Mario fella says it's not Simmons. What other player has enough value to net a 1st or 2nd?

        I would guess Courtland Sutton.
That should give us a good draft pick or a trade for a younger WR.
I've read articles suggesting that Payton would like to acquire Michael Thomas or Brandin Cooks.
        We'll see what happens.

How can Bolles be a 'big name' LOL.

The only players we got of high trade value is JJ, Dremont Jones, Simmons and Surtain.

We would do very well to get a 2nd. More like a 4th. 3rd tops

Well, he is a pro bowl LT. Not sure what his value is but LT's hold a huge amount of value. It wouldn't surprise me if a team who misses out on the drafts top LT rookies would take a stab at Bolles. Would we get a 1st? I have doubts but I can see a 2nd and 4th?

I figure maybe he is a top 20 tackle? But not close to top 10? Someone above average at best? He has a 17.8m cap figure for 2023 and he is not 17.8m worth of tackle. But I think he would be a dead cap of 8m or something.

Russell Wilson? Seriously though it surely shouldn't be anyone from the defense; we've a few "big" names but don't think they'll be going anywhere... It has to be either Jeudy or Sutton.... or Bolles I guess.Or Wilson to the Jets They love their Wilsons over there

Pretty much everybody's tradable, some more than others, except for Russell Wilson.
WIth RW's contract, it makes it hard to move on from him for two more years.

Everyone is available for the right price
this is also the biggest time of speculation or straight out lies in the NFL

Anyone see Arron Rodgers on the McAfee show? He straight called some of the most "reliable" sources in the NFL not accurate.

Certainly a WR could be dealt. Jeudy or Sutton. Probably Jeudy due to contract and hot hand late last season.

No need for 3 starting caliber WRs when we need guys that can protect the passer at the NFL level.

I'd say probably Jeudy. He's still on his rookie deal, with this year, plus the fifth year option. It makes the most sense. You could get value on the return compensation and it doesn't create a major hole at a position like trading Bolles, Simmons, Surtain or a DL would.

Not a fan of the “big trade” idea. Hoping it is idle chatter.

Broncos need talent and foundation players. Unless for some reason they don’t have the proper attitude to fit in to the “ new” team culture. Debatable whether any players mentioned fit that description. Turnover due to not paying our free agents and waiving vets on too high a contract is going to create enough holes in the roster for Paton to get creative.

Trading quality players for questionable draft picks is fun for draft discussions. In reality it just weakens a rebuilding team with a win now QB and HC.

Going through be interesting to watch how they choose to build a team.

Jeudy certainly is a possibility. It certainly could be Bolles as well. There are a few people that posted that Bolles being gone or other names creates holes and I definitely see their point. I like Jeudy, I think Payton could help him take the next step to an elite WR, but that is me spitballing too. There are other guys with similar talent out there.

Bolles I am not a big fan of, but I am not in love with our current replacements. Bolles for a 2nd round pick would be solid return. I hope their is a veteran LT that Payton and Paton have in mind that can legitimately play LT in the NFL when healthy. If that is what Denver is planning to do.

Because even though Bolles holds like all the time, and yes he got better for a while, as long as he isn't getting called for holding he has been pretty solid in run blocking and pass protection. The Pro Bowl nod wasn't just a gift he earned that too.
