  • Samaje Perine signed from Cinci

Depth RB. Never hurts to add more running backs.

Runs hard and sneaky good pass catcher as well.

    Love this signing.

      Javonte Williams: 5’10 - 220lbs

      Samaje Perine: 5’11 - 240lbs

      Latavius Murray: 6’3 - 230lbs

With the line upgrades. POUND THE ROCK!

        Has Murray been re-signed?

Not yet, but him and Payton are super close. Hard to imagine him not back.

Latavius was the one recruiting Payton

I'm surprised that Cincy let Perine hit the open market and 3.75M/yr is a steal.
Samaje Perine not only runs hard, has a great stiff arm, and catches well, but better than that,
Perine pass-blocks very well for a running back, much better than Hunt, Montgomery, or Sanders.
Additionally, he takes pride in doing it.

This wasn't just a good signing, it was an awesome signing.

Instead of Murray I would prefer they draft a RB.

My favorite at the moment is Roshon Johnson out of Texas. 6’/ 220 lbs. Draft reports have him as a smart football player, bruising runner with decent hands. He excels at pass protection and is a STs standout. Just the kind of rookie they need to contribute every game.

Just saw the post stating that Murray and Payton are close. There goes my theory. Lol

Graded out 4th in pass blocking behind…

                Pollard
                Conner

I visited The Bengals Board and saw a thread about losing Samaje to the Broncos. Interesting responses and the general consensus was "good for him" and "it's Cincy's loss." I'd post a link but don't know if that's a forum no-no here.

Sounds like Denver is putting together a smash mouth, balanced offense.

Best part…Perrine is a Chief killer.

There were some who thought Perine was outperforming Mixon at times towards the end of the season.

This is a very good pick up.

I think Murray will be back and they either draft a RB or maybe bring Tyler Badie back, depending on if Payton likes him.

I just think there is too much uncertainty with Javonte coming off that injury that the Broncos will bring in a stable of backs as a contingency plan if Javonte is not ready to go.
