He was worth the first round draft pick already. Wilson on the other hand....hasn't even proven to be worth trading Drew Lock...... let alone two other players. This isn't even considering the draft picks. Hopefully, next year, my narrative will change.

Payton is a hall of fame head coach and comes from a rich on winning coaching tree. All moves made so far have every indication that this team is going to punch you in the mouth with physicality.

The ground game is number one along with short passing/screen pass plays. This allows Russ to utilize his great deep ball accuracy off play action. I am one who believes that last year was a fluke and Russ is still an elite QB in this league. You don't play that good for that long and just forget how to do it.

I've always liked SP, so no convincing me. Looking forward to seeing him putting his HC skills front and center and the players responding
with quality execution of plays on both sides of the ball.

The last near decade as a Broncos fan has been very trying. Many times I’ve been so hyped and so hopeful just to get the wind sucked from my orange sails. Everything so far is highly encouraging, but there’s a looong road to week one. And that’s just the start. SP would appear to be the best chance we have to turn around our franchise.

I hope that we have a immediate turnaround, But if it starts out a little bumpy, I hope the fan base doesn't freak out. We really need to give this a chance to get good. I hope Sean Payton is our coach for 5 years, (at least).

We put up with VJ, Fangio and Hackett coaching cycle and won't even begin to list the trash QBs we've been forced to watch, let alone the lack of offensive play calling - anything is an upgrade at this point.
