    One year deal.

Love it, I still think he’s a good contributor.
    -Bronco in UT

While I both agree and disagree with many posts in this thread I have to lean towards champ on this one. Jay really needs to learn how to manage the game better, and also to learn that you don't have to go for the big play EVERY time on every drive. There is something to be said to check the ball down and live to fight another day. -Great Post Cut the Excuses out please. sigh...

    Helll of a post

Dumb move. Waste of time and cap space. Liability against the pass. Ok in run support. No one else wanted him. Only reason he is back is because there is no one they have faith in to be the other starting safety, especially with Sterns coming off an injury. Sad we are relying on a 35 year old washed up DB. Won't take long for the fanbase to remember that his negative impact far outweighs his positive impact on this team. I haven't forgotten how much he sucked last year. Can only hope he ends up as a back up.

This is almost as dumb as bring back Melvin Gordon last year.

This signing is really stupid. The Denver Broncos just can’t get the GM spot correct. They should hire one of us who really know about what players can play and what ones need to retire and I do hope that K.Jackson ends up retiring before the season starts or at least he gets buried in the depth chart. It is now time for J.Simmons and Caden Sterns not K.Jackson who is 38 years old washed up has been did they not watch the tape last year and notice that he was one of worst safeties in the game last year? Just another dumb George Paton signing.

            Good signing
            Thank you, Paton and Payton,
A one-year deal is ideal for a veteran safety to assist in bringing up the quality of a defensive back clubroom with younger talent.
K-Jack can still play well enough to compete and the younger talent will need to bring their A-game to get on the field.
for those that think they are better talent evaluators than either George or Sean, I will respectfully give you the razz.
LOL ... both of those men have decades of real NFL experience and I choose to trust that experience over an armchair QB.
It may even be a great signing if K-Jack returns to form.

I think it's good, he can mentor and teach the young guys.
I think its good to have a few good veterans around to settle things down, when things get crazy.

K Jax has given our team some really good moments over the past 4 years. Last year i think we all saw the decline. I'm not going to be harsh ...there are a couple posts like that already. However, I'm in the middle on this, as we still have some youthful players { skinner } that could really use his mentorship.

Known to players, coaches and support staff, but not to the average fan, is what a player is like in the locker room and whether or not he is a positive leader. It's not quantifiable.

After some players were released for salary cap reasons, most of the off-season activity has been acquiring players via free agency, trades and the draft. I think they have more than ninety players right now some of which may not count yet, so there will be some players released to establish the TC roster. Rookie mini-camp is this week and will include about fifteen guys for tryouts. Denver is looking at a lot of guys right now. There will most likely be moves made during and right after TC. It's an ongoing process.

Sean Payton said that once a player takes his seat in the meeting room, how he got there is irrelevant. The best players will play. He also said everyone will play in preseason games. All of that applies to Kareem Jackson as well. The Sean Payton era in Denver is underway.

As a mentor to young players he's great to have. He didn't look like a full time starter last year although we had to play him that way. If he can be a 15-25 snap a game guy I think it'd be better for him and us based on where he's at in his career.

Just because K Jax was signed does not mean he is an automatic starter. If he is only brought in to help in run defense then it was a great signing. I think everyone knows Sterns will be given every opportunity to be the starter opposite Simmons.

Everyone also knows Sterns has to stay healthy. If he gets injured again what was Denver going to do? Go with some undrafted guy? I'd MUCH rather have Jax back there then some kid who is completely unproven

                          Don't forget JL Skinner.

I am good with this only if Kjax is a backup. He does not deserve to be top 3 in Safety defensive snaps at this point of his career on a playoff team.

There is a reason he keeps coming back to Denver at bargain deals. No one else sees him as a starting safety. Only team that does has not made playoffs in long time and is drafting top 10 and top 5.

It pained me to see how Dennis Smith and Steve Atwater left the Broncos. Maybe two of my favorite Bronco defenders all time. At some point a guy can not play safety and a young guy needs to be developed.

Unofficial Adopt a Bronco in 2023 is Russell Wilson. He getting a lot of hate from "Bronco Fans". I am going to support him. He is our Qb1 for 2023,

We have a lot of options at the position, doesn’t hurt to have a veteran voice for a young group. Moss, Skinner, Williams, Locke, Sterns are all guys that might be used at that spot in addition to Jackson.
