Buy in the middle of the season and no going to KC in December, raiders at home last game….not bad…..don’t like 3 road games in a row near end of season though.
All in all seems seems quite balanced…we’ve had much worse.[D7C4396B-F1D6-4291-890C-4C7F4D83E499.jpg/SIGPIC]👍 3Comment

As an east coast dude I can't tell you how excited I am that we're actually playing a Sunday afternoon game on opening weekend. And it's against the raiders. Hate week starting early!
We get the Chiefs early, not playing in Arrowhead late Dec / Jan.
Still too many prime time games for this team.

Agreed. I hated the scheduling trend that always had the Broncos playing KC in December. It's also nice to start the season at home and as for the prime time games, all I can say is that I'm happy that the Broncos aren't playing on Thanksgiving or Christmas day. Them getting their arse kicked on Christmas '22 day harshed the buzz I got from all the toys Santa left under the tree.👍 1Comment

Got tickets for the New Year's Eve game against the Chargers. First game for my kids (age 11 and 7). Was debating the Sunday Night game against the Patriots. The last night game I went to was the Bengals Monday night game the year of the Super Bowl, was something like 16 degrees, don't think the wife and kids could do that hahasigpic2012 Broncos Country Pick 'Em Challenge Champion👍 1Comment

To me...this is the proving ground. If we can't beat the Raiders at home....then .....well, we need to change divisions...👍 2Comment

I certainly hope more than that.
W vs Raiders
W vs Commanders
? at Dolphins ( If Emily, Gert, Idalia, Franklin, Harold, or Jose attempt to attend, Then we win. Otherwise, too close to call.)
W at Bears
? vs Jets ( How good will the Rodgers led Jets be? )
? at Chiefs ( We play tough against the Chiefs + coming off 2 road games that may produce injuries + they may under-estimate us.)
W vs Packers ( This could be a trap game since they will be coming off a bye.)
W vs Chiefs ( I believe we will find a way to win at least one game against the Chiefs.)
Bye week
? at Bills (The Bye wk prep advantage + MNF incentive + Bills coming off a tough Cincy road game.)
W vs Vikings
W vs Browns
W at Texans
W at Chargers
W at Lions
W vs Patriots
W vs Chargers
W at Raiders
( +/- 2 for any given Sunday theorem)
My prediction
11 - 15 Wins
2 - 6 Losses

I figure either 8-9 or 9-8. As good a coach as Payton is, this roster is not as good as some make it out to be. And we have major questions at center, safety, cornerback and running back at the moment. Throw in key starters like Bolles, Javonte and Patrick coming off injuries, as well as a serious lack of depth across OL and DL, and it does not make me think we're reaching double digit wins.
Frankly, and I've stated this before, I think our defense is not as good as they are proclaimed to be.
Oh yeah, and Russ coming off an absolutely putrid season.
Right now, I don't see us beating KC this year, again. Certainly not the first game which is a short week, on the road, coming off a game against a tough Jets squad.
Hope I'm wrong, but I think it'll take Payton at least until next year to clean up the mess Elway and Paton created and get us back into serious playoff contention in a loaded AFC.👍 1Comment

1. Week one, at home vs. the Las Vegas Raiders
A season opener at home against your hated divisional rival? Of course this game makes the list.
You will have hated former head coach Josh McDaniels who is coming off a season where he swept his former team, but this time with his hand picked quarterback, Jimmy Garoppolo. The former Patriots and 49ers quarterback reunited with his former offensive coordinator and is now the main man in Vegas. RELATED Broncos vs Raiders opening odds for Week 1
As for the Broncos, this will be head coach Sean Payton’s debut regular season game with the team. After yet another losing season, coming away with a opening week victory will be crucial for this team, especially against a division rival. The Broncos have struggled against their rivals recently and have not defeated the Raiders since 2019 when they were still the Oakland Raiders.
Coming away with a victory in this one will be crucial for Payton and the Broncos. Losing yet another game to the Raiders, at home, week one, in Payton’s debut would be pretty demoralizing for the fan base and potentially the team.
Just read an article....guess what, I just posted this same feeling prior to me finding this article.👍 1Comment

Tough to say. I see "lock" wins in the Commanders, Packers, Bears, Browns, Texans and Patriots (jmo). No way we get swept in the division this year, I'll say 3 wins ( I think we sweep the Raiders). Pretty much every other team we face outside of KC are winnable games. Tough? Yes but not impossible.👍 1Comment
