I would consider that first week against the Raiders as close to must win as any.

From a motivational standpoint it would be a devastating loss. All the hype and goodwill of Payton, a new and improved Wilson and a sense of hopefulness that the Broncos are finally making headway goes down the tubes with an opening day loss.

Would be way too similar to paying a kings ransom for our new “MVP” QB in Wilson only to lose in Seattle to a rebuilding team. Sounds way to familiar.

Expecting much better results!

Everything is just an opinion until the games are played. I think Denver is in the playoffs this year...just my opinion

They definitely have to play the games, and I think we have a good team, with strong coaching!

I am not mad about it. Top 5 pick last year. Top 10 the previous year. Do not feel like looking into how many top picks we have earned in recent history beyond that. Have not seen playoffs in near a decade.

I agree! Until we actually have a winning season, or we make the playoffs, I'm kind of pessimistic about things, until I actually see it happen.
