Wow! Like this signing. He's getting up there in age, still should be pretty productive for a couple more years.

Frank Clark to me on why he chose the #Broncos on FaceTime: "The situation with Sean Payton is good for me. I get to play alongside Randy Gregory and stay in my in division that I am very familiar with. I also want to help the Broncos get back to the mountain top."

        Sean Payton Effect

Plus a lot of ppl sleeping on Gregory year 2…..

Very happy to see part of his reason for signing is HC Payton.

Clark is a nice solid vet signing. Hope he can be a good mentor for the young guys and he can motivate Gregory to elevate his game.

Defense with DC Joseph is starting to look pretty interesting.

I never want to wish my life away but this good news makes it very difficult not to want the season to start this weekend!

That's what having a great HC can do for you. What do you guys think happened to him to cause the drop off from 13 sacks to around 5? He's only 29 so it shouldn't be age. Anyone know his PFF grade and pressures from last year?

Good to have another pass rusher on the roster. Hopefully he can produce.

I want to know how badly he wants to hit Mahomes.

That should have been the first question they asked him.

                      You’re a Buckeye?🤔

we have a wave of pass rushers.

Johanthan Cooper is unknown but so underrated and a good young player, Baron Browning has a high ceiling, Randy Gregory is good if he can stay healthy and Frank Clark adds veteran depth…

we can keep two waves of pass rushers on the field to pressure Mahomes, Herbert and Grappolo without them getting tired… I love it

While I both agree and disagree with many posts in this thread I have to lean towards champ on this one. Jay really needs to learn how to manage the game better, and also to learn that you don't have to go for the big play EVERY time on every drive. There is something to be said to check the ball down and live to fight another day. -Great Post Cut the Excuses out please. sigh...

Reeeeeelax, he’ll do fine for us…. Just a little too friendly in KC with Reid who’s a players coach. Sean will get the most out of him. Besides his playoff stats are where he shines…he’s one of those not serious till it’s serious guys and it’s hard to get serious when you have a top 5 coach and the best QB in the NFL… Sean won’t have that tho…. I think he’ll be alright

He is getting 5.5M GTD base salary with 1M in "makeable" incentives and 1M in "challenging" incentives, so potentially worth 7.5M for a year. Not sure what you would call a lot? I think its a reasonable deal for a player that will probably play ~60%? of plays, maybe a little more ... just my speculation. I think it makes the defense a little better and able to rotate pass rushers to keep them fresh

                              Playoff stats is the key
