Don't forget about Tyrone Braxton starting SS, as Lynch and Atwater are both FS. Braxton and Atwater both made 90's All-Decade Team.

I'd put Elway as starting QB and Frank Tripucka 2nd team QB.

Dude, Atwater is a FS. And how can you guys not mention Braxton as SS next to Atwater?

My team Atwater would be Playing SS, he was a great unstopper.
As for Braxton he was a good FS just not starting.

Simon Fletcher played predominately at OLB for the Broncos

3)I would replace Michael Brooks with John Mobely.

4)Trevor Pryce should really be in there somewhere (At tackle or end.)

Still, this is the best of these types of lists I have seen in a while.
Simon Fletcher was a OLB for the Broncos during his playing career because we played a 3-4 defense most of his career. He may have moved to DE in obvious passing downs but in are basic defense he played OLB. You have to remember that Joe Collier and Wade Phillips were the DC during Fletcher's career and they both ran 3-4 defenses.

The DE for the Broncos during Fletcher's career included Rulon Jones, Andre Townsend, Freddie Gilbert, Ron Holmes, Warren Powers, and a bunch of others. But Fletcher was listed as a LB on the roster(http://www.jt-sw.com/football/pro/ro...nnual/1989-den) and you can look up an year he played at that website and he is listed as a LB. That is where he played most of the time, and yes like Mecklenburg you could move him around but he was first and foremost our OLB in a 3-4 defense.

Also, you people need to watch the game film on Rick Upchurch and then you will realize no one was better than him. As for Trevor Pryce, well Alzado has more career sacks than him in fewer years and fewer games a season, so that is why he is ahead of Pryce.

                  Some good teams there guys!

You guys are coming up with some good team combinations! Being an "old-schooler" there is one guy that a lot of you young guys never got the chance to see play that I feel could be added to the list and that is Claudie Minor at tackle, both left and right. He was a mountain of a man for that time era ('74-'80) at 6-4, 280. And Ken Lanier was solid at right tackle, too, for years. And Paul Howard at guard wasn't bad, either. But this could go on and on and on.....

I hear you about Claudie Minor, I considered him but ended up giving the last T spot to Matt Lepsis on my 2nd team. I have Paul Howard at G on my 2nd team also. However, I left off players like Trevor Pryce, Vance Johnson, Frank Trupicka, Charley Johnson, Bobby Humphrey, Clinton Portis, Barney Chavous, Tyrone Braxton, Ray Crockett, Bob Swenson, John Mobley, and a whole bunch of others. But I think the two teams I assembled are the best teams in Broncos history.

Yes, too many to choose from! I don't think that there are many wrong answers as far as this goes-what a TEAM each one of these would be, huh?
