    Yes it was Jake.

His statistics were modest (115 yards passing, no touchdowns), but he led Denver to a 30-10 victory over Cincinnati on Kickoff Weekend in 2003.

    WTG TD!!

      Modest? You're being kind....

12 of 25 for 115 yards. ZERO TDs and THREE interceptions.

Still, Jake got the "win," didn't he?

We have had many discussions around here about that very subject. We seem to be overlooked in the eyes of the voters but as long as we the fans remember our past greats, it's all good in Bronco Nation.

              Welcome to the boards.

That really was a star studded secondary. I also didnt realize Jeff Fisher had played at USC. Learned something new today.

I think Ben Tate will be the best back taken in the 2010 draft. (5/3/10)

                • Thanks for the CP, BM! Does the Cheesecake Factory do anything special for National Cheesecake Day? I would definitely swing by there if they had a good deal for it!

                      Well you're welcome!

I reward the correct answer with a CP.

But as I keep reminding everyone, I am not immune from the spread around rule. I like to be able to reward different folks.

                          Good morning, BM_69!

Both John Elway and Gary Kubiak in 1983. So, the answer should be: Gary Kubiak.

I'm gonna take a stab and say it was Marlin Briscoe.....

                                It was Kubes.

Gary Kubiak passed for 165 yards and a touchdown in a 38-7 victory over Seattle in 1983.

That was back when the Seahawks were still in our division. I miss those days. Those people in the Kingdome were so loud they would shake loose the ceiling panels and they would fall down.

                                Good Job my dear.
