Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

And I thought NJ had some weird weather, sometimes.
...Hope everything's ok, BM69.
Yeah... everything will be fine. Doing repairs over the weekend and we have to wait for the window to be made and delivered. Probably another 10 days they said.
Further discovery found that the vegetable garden took a big frost bite that night and the tomato plants were also shredded from the wind.
I am happy to report that all of the display panels are working again. That was so odd.

Charley Johnson, who passed for 2,465 yards and 20 touchdowns
It is amazing that it took the Broncos 12 losing years to finally get a winning season in 1973. Tom Jackson, in the history of Denver Broncos DVD commented about how the fans were the amazing ones. He said "When I got to Denver, I was wondering why so many people were coming to watch a losing team. That goes to show the passion and love affair that Denver has had with this team"

I thought this was an interesting fact for the weekend with the High Flying Offense thread going on today:
The most points Denver has overcome to win a game is 24. In 1979, the Broncos trailed the Seattle Seahawks 34-10 in the third quarter of a game at Mile High Stadium before rallying with 4 touchdowns to win 37-34
I was at that game and I remember Mile High EXPLODING that day! Great day for the fans who were loud and proud!!
Have a sooper dooper weekend everyone!!

Glad to hear it.

They're your teammates, now.
Best of luck, TT!
...Always a class act - in any uniform.
sbutk: i can see why Denver is taking TO's right now [trailing by 7, with 30 seconds left in the half]. but why Oakland???
Captain Lori: You are trying to figure out the Raiders. Try figuring out women instead; it's probably much easier.
Sheesh. What a day and night yesterday. Anybody else here in Utah can verify. The wind yesterday was unbelievable. 70 mph most of the day. When I got home from work, I found one of our house windows blown out, the patio furniture was whipped into the yard and destroyed, we have two of these really big wooden fan looking things to help support rose bushes and both of them snapped. Two brand new trees that snapped one of their support poles and ripped branches off. Then the lightening last night hit our house and all of our display panels on clocks etc are all burned out. My truck was in the garage and it is also burned out.
And dig this. Expected low tonight at 30 degrees with snow forecasted.
So I will be trying to check out early today dealing with the fallout of this.
Back on topic here:
Good Morning Everyone.
Today is Wednesday June 6th the 157th day of the year with 208 to go.
95 days until Buffalo.
Today's Question:
Who scored 123 points for the Broncos in their initial AFL season in 1960?
Sorry to hear of your loss 69, I hope you get everything back together.
Former Broncos Rick Upchurch, Mark Jackson, Dave Studdard and Shawn Moore led a group of NFL players that conducted a camp for youngsters over the weekend. It was quite the success much to the delight of the kids that participated and their parents. High praise was given to the players for their role in educating our youth.
Drew Brees also made an appearance here in Utah. He made a surprise visit to a correctional facility where he spoke to 124 inmates in Beaver on Friday. An inspirational speaker was what they called him.
Moving On....
Today in Monday June 11th the 162nd day of the year with 203 to go.
90 days until Buffalo
Today's Question:
Who scored more than 100 points for the only time in his Broncos' career for the first winning team in club history in 1973?

Oh then it's Jim Turner the kicker.. I was looking at his stats and saw that he scored 100 points more than once then realised they were for the New York Jets.
