  • Hello Everyone!

Im having major problems with the puter today. Something has happened to my AOL software. I'm using this Explorer browser and it's not displaying right.

No snow Chris after they said yup. The mountains got a little bit but nothing here in the valley.

Today is Saturday February 7th, the 38th day of the year with 327 to go.

February 17th. 10 days until the DTV Transition. Hawaii has already converted. I wish they would make up their minds. It still may be delayed until June 12th but Utah says they are moving forward as planned. Others may not. We have 2 TV's affected by this and only one converter box.

    It is:

Wave All Your Fingers At Your Neighbor Day
Send A Card To A Friend Day
    Ballet Day
    Dump Your Significant Jerk Day
    Chinese New Year's Day
    MOBIUS Awards Day

    Sunday is:

    Pro Bowl
Boy Scout (Anniversary) Day (Aren't your boys scouts FF?)
    Kite Flying Day
Daytona Pole Day (Time for a new NASCAR season MD)
    Laugh And Get Rich Day
    Grammy Awards Day
    Man Day
    World Marriage Day

Full NFL 2009 Calendar A big thanks to sgriffeth78 for posting all of this.

    April 25th and 26th ~ 77 Days until the 2009 NFL Draft

    Our 2009 Opponents:

    Home

AFC West: Kansas City ~ Oakland ~ San Diego
    Cleveland ~ Pittsburgh ~ Dallas ~ N.Y. Giants ~ New England

    Away

AFC West: Kansas City ~ Oakland ~ San Diego
    Baltimore ~ Cincinnati ~ Philadelphia ~ Washington ~ Indianapolis

Here's the Question for the weekend of February 7th/8th:

The Broncos streak of 229 games without being shut out entering 2007 was the fifth-longest in NFL history. (They soon moved past the number four mark of 233 games.) But it was still a long way from the record of 420 games. What team holds that mark?

        San Francisco 49ers.

This record streak began in 1977 and didn't end until 2004.

That is exactly right. Well Done mtnman.

Remember the last game at Old Mile High Stadium?

We threatened that streak but they scored 9 points in the 4th quarter.

Damn, and I actually was going to guess the 9ers. No basis behind it, though.

...Thanks for the informative answer instead, Mtnman.

sbutk: i can see why Denver is taking TO's right now [trailing by 7, with 30 seconds left in the half]. but why Oakland???

Captain Lori: You are trying to figure out the Raiders. Try figuring out women instead; it's probably much easier.

                    • I remember going to Mile High and lining up on the steps behind the goal post. In those days there were no nets and if you caught the football you kept it. (as far as I know since I never caught one.)

I'm going with Doug Pelfrey of the Cincinnati Bengals, in a season where they would be 3-13 for the season, after starting 0-8. If not for the kicker, they might not have won a game all season.

The teams they beat with his kicks were the Seattle Seahawks in game 9, the Houston Oilers in game 10, and a season ending victory over the Philadelphia Eagles in game 16.

                                All by three points.
