This one is very hard. I love it! I can't wait to see the answer.

I have chores to do so I am stepping away.

I'll stay on line and periodically check back so we can get this question answered and rewarded. BBL.

Who was the first player to lead the Broncos in both rushing and receiving in the same season?

Little over 6 hours till kickoff!

    • It's a trick question, because it never happened.

Yes, I thought I knew the answer, looked it up and come to find out that it's never happened in Broncos history.

That's why I asked him if he was asking what it is sounded like. I looked it up and couldn't get an answer.

          • The answer details number of catches not receiving yards so it is confusing. I had to re-read this myself.

            Does that help?

This took place in the mid 70's

              Mid 70's...

              Otis Armstrong?

And no, I didn't look it up.

                It was not Otis. :nono:

                The year was 1975.

                  John Keyworth?

No one has said Floyd Little, but wasn't he done by 75'?

I think it was his last year. Or maybe it was '74.

I was only 4 in 75', so my knowledge of that era is somewhat limited....

Floyd was the 2nd guess by Tarquin. Floyd Little played his last year in 1975.

But Jon Keyworth is the correct answer. He had 725 yards rushing and he caught 42 passes.

Thanks everyone for the responses today. It was a deceiving and confusing question but HEY.... I don't right this stuff.

                              Today's Fun Fact:

The current Broncos are not the first Denver team with that nickname. In the early 1920's, Denver's Midwest Baseball League team also was known as the Broncos.
