Yep. It was Jake the Snake. He went 39-15 which is a winning percentage of .722 from 2003 to 2006.

Not too shabby in my book.

Not too shabby at all. My wife followed him from college all the way up to the day he retired. She's still pissed we drafted Jay.

              Yesterday's Fun Fact:

Though they have been one of the most successful NFL teams since the 1970 merger, the Broncos were not successful in their AFL days. They did not post a winning record in the 10-year history of the league. Their high-water mark was a 7-7 season in 1962.

              Today's Question:

What Broncos' player once caught a 97-yard touchdown pass?

                  That' the guy.

He caught this pass against Boston in 1962 and it remains the longest play from scrimmage in club history.

                  Good Job.

sbutk: i can see why Denver is taking TO's right now [trailing by 7, with 30 seconds left in the half]. but why Oakland???

Captain Lori: You are trying to figure out the Raiders. Try figuring out women instead; it's probably much easier.

I wondered somewhat myself but I suppose it would apply before as well as people are wrapping presents to put under the tree.

Like an old birthday present you received earlier this year you never opened. *shrugs*

                        • We have a holiday tradition on my wife's side of the family, which involves recirculating gag gifts during New Year's Eve. A couple of years ago I got an old baseball cap that had been in my father-in-law's garage for quite some time, judging by the soil on the cap.

This year I'm thinking about buying a bottle of Boone's and sticking it in a really nice wine bottle box. I don't drink, but my wife's family drink modest amounts of wine from time to time. I'm sure they would appreciate the Boone's.

LOL! I thought about the Mad Dog already, but I think the Boone's would fit in a normal wine box better, whereas the Mad Dog is too wide.
