    Today's Fun Fact:

The Broncos entered the 2014 calendar year with an all-time record of 18-17 in post season games.

SO with that being posted, we are a 50/50 in the playoffs. I would have liked to believe there were more opportunities and did better than that with the chances we had.

And of course we all know what happened this year

    • Yeah that's extremely an disappointing stat.

We all pride ourselves with the stat of a top two record I believe if not best record regular season basically since Elway was drafted.

And yet all we have to show for
The history of the franchise in the playoffs is 50/50.

It's not bad but it just goes to show you how hard it is to win in this league.

                  • Curious about this record?

I may be amiss on my thought process but if you take this post season record and just subtract the wins in reverse chronological order it doesn't add up. Start with 18 subtract 2 wins from 2013 is 16, 1 win from 2011 is 15 and 1 win from the 2005 season gives you 14. 14 is the exact number of wins John Elway had as Denvers QB. So there are at least a few wins and a loss from the 1977 SB run that are not being accounted for. I may be over looking something but it seems a bit off to me. Sorry to make an issue out of it, just curious.

Was at this game with a friend who films for NFL films. Got to Watch it from the camera platform at the 50 yard line up at the half bowl section of Met Life field. It was an awesome experience! I had an all access pass and got to eat lunch next to Tom Heckert and rode an elevator with Jim Nance. Was hoping to be able to meet John Elway but he never came into the press lounge. I had a blast getting to see my team for the second time in my life live on the field.(The first time was a 2009 game when Denver came to Philly to play the Eagles) I hope to get out to Denver to be able to go crazy with you folks one of these years!

The fact stated "entering the 2014 calendar year" meaning the 2013 playoffs actually occurred in the 2014 calendar year. Per the link provided, stating 20-19, remove the two wins from the 2013 playoffs brings us to 18. Same goes true with the loss column. Remove the 2 losses and that is 17.
