Oh, crap! I screwed up (I mentally blocked his tenure with us)! It is Belicheat! I had the answer as Dan Reeves with nine.

Well done! Belicheat has been to a record 11 Super Bowls.

                      Yes sir!

The first tight end to lead the Denver Broncos in receiving wasn’t Shannon Sharpe; it was 6’4" 230-pound Riley Odoms. Odoms led the club in receptions in 1973 (43-629-7TD), 1974 (42-639-6TD), 1977 (37-429-3TD), and 1978 (54-829-6TD). He also led Denver in receiving yards in 1975 when he hauled in 40 catches for 544 yards and 3 TDs.

He was drafted with the 5th pick in the first round of the 1972 NFL Draft (which puts him just behind Ron Kramer who was drafted fourth overall by the Packers in 1957 and tied with Mike Ditka who was also drafted fifth overall), as the second highest drafted tight end in history.

Not only was Riley highly regarded in the Mile High City, he was also respected by his peers. Four times in his brilliant career, Odoms was selected to the Pro Bowl, following the 1973, 1974, 1975, and 1978 seasons. He finished his Broncos’ career with 396 receptions for 5755 yards and 41 TDs. He also ran the ball 27 times for 216 yards and 2 TDs.

                      • Riley Odoms was also a great blocker. After our Super Bowl loss to Dallas, where their DL dominated our OL (except for Odoms), game film of Riley Odoms blocking Too Tall Jones was used as training film for TE blocking for years. I would be hard pressed not to take Riley over Sharpe if I had to draft a Bronco TE.

This offensive threat was up to the 'emergency' in these 2 big games. Who was he and what was the story?
Initially I saw your random fact and was sure that Tom Brady has beaten every team, but then I realized that he'd only have beaten 31 teams. Drew Brees has the chance to join Manning and Favre this year if he can beat the Ravens.

To add to it, only 4 QBs have beaten every team but their own: John Elway, Tom Brady, Ben Roethlisberger and Aaron Rodgers.
