  • Fred Gerhke was our GM during our Orange Crush season, our first Super Bowl appearance, and was the person that hired Red Miller. He also is the first player to add a face mask to his helmet and is credited with inventing the face mask after breaking his nose three times in the same season.

Between painting the Ram horns on a helmet, inventing the face mask and being the GM of the Broncos for our Orange Crush years, he really had an impact on football and should be appreciated by Bronco and NFL fans.

Manning's streak of consecutive games with a TD pass? Consecutive AFC Championship wins?

Bolded part is the correct answer.....

The Broncos were 4-0 in AFC Championship games. But in 1991, they lost to Buffalo by a score of 10 - 7.

Three of the Broncos wins came in the 80s against the Cleveland Browns.

The good news, after their 5th AFC Championship victory, over Pittsburgh, they went on to win their 1st of back to back SBs!!

            • The Denver Broncos largest comeback wins were in games which they trailed by 24 points at (at any point in the game). They have 3 comeback wins where they were behind 24 points, in 3 diffferent seasons. Denver won those games by 3, 7 and 11 points. Name at least 1 of those teams that we came from behind 24 points to beat, and name at least 1 year that it happened.

Was just reading about Tripucka because the poster that answered the final 24-0 comeback mentioned he was the QB who did it.

Are you referring to George Shaw coming in for Tripucka? So you wanted everyone that played QB not just 1?
