Lets face it 2 out of the top 50 is not bad. Not what it should be but not bad.

Some team had none. There are 32 teams in the league to have a couple in the top 50 works for me.

We don't get the press that many of the Major cities do and therefore the coverage is lacking for the voters of this list. Much the same way for the pro bowl.

The super bowl champs normally are loaded with Pro bowlers even if they are marginally great. It just the face time they get that counts.

Denver will never get respect without winning about 5 SB's in a row.

The Rodney Dangerfield of the NFL.

Most nfl analysts say that trevor pryce is the best bronco defender behind baily, though.

I think the fact that Denver has such an efficient offense shows that Mike is an offensive geniuse considering he doesn't have top talent on the offensive side of the ball.

Really, we'd only have one if you don't include cb.
TP is so quiet. He's like rod, in the fact that they let their play speak for them. Unless Mike doesn't think they're playing up to snuff, and says so publicly (tp). Maybe that remark last year kept him off?

Prisco is full of it. Champ was rated only 33 last year, and now he's skyrocketed to #9 coming off his worst season as a professional?

Torry Holt only 29? Priest above LT? How is Andre Johnson even on the list? The entire list just falls to pieces after the first 3 IMO.

it might've been his worst season, but he still made the pro bowl and still played great. some people say it was his best year for just the way he played. not his stats, just the way he blanketed star wide outs and the way he covered, not how many picks he should've got. let's not forget whatshisnuts on the vikings is a horrible corner but somehow got a boatload of picks.
even Redskins (before the trade) werent convinced he was the best corner in the league . . . they also said he got burned way more than a "top corner" should've . . .

That was pretty much off of rep alone. Its the same way Larry Allen gets voted every year - off of rep. You think Dre Bly could have had the year Champ had and still made it to the Pro Bowl?
