      I'm glad to hear that.
I called it 2 weeks ago or so, that we would sign him.

It just made a lot of sense to do so for more reasons than one.
      Welcome back Justin.

was excited for Bannan when he was 30, the first time we found out he wasn't worth signing. Really hope this doesn't mean we're done with the position.

                Really?

                Another player past their prime.

I hope they do not use this as an excuse not to draft any DT. That would be a huge mistake.

I just hope this is for depth purposes only. He is not a starting caliber guy anymore but we need depth so I guess good pick up. Still have a ways to go at the position still

Solid. Was our best DT in the 2010 season

No doubt. Still need some young talent along the D Line through the draft, but if nothing else, he provides depth & veteran leadership.

Wasn't Kevin Vickerson out best DT in 2010? 42 tackles, 2 sacks, 3 pass breakups with 1 interception.

Anyway, this move is an extra excuse to skip DTs in the upcoming draft. The "We just signed Justin Bannan" answer will join the "we have DTs and we like our guys" answer.
