He didn't break down jack ...he shows a few highlights n basically play by plays them lol...

NFLN kinda sucks now...been watching NFL Live on ESPN for more inside stories/scoops/news ...NFLN is too proper in the sense they mainly only talk about official stuff which I can see anywhere ...in the offseason it's especially boring ...even the Broncos 32 in 32 was a bit of a let down imo

I didn't realize how sick that spin move against the Chargers was.

The good thing about Von is that if he gets up to 250 like he's supposed to and gets a little stronger, he'll be able to use power moves, finesse moves, and just the straight speed rush around the edge. Like a pitcher sets up batters for a change up with a fastball (or vice versa), Von will be able to go finesse move, finesse move, speed move, finesse move and them BAM a bullrush pushing the RT back into the QB and causing a fumble.

      I am excite.

He already can tho...I'm actually a tad concerned that the extra weight will take away that elite first step he has which is more important than anything without question ...if he can maintain that with the extra muscle gain that's great but ya ...I'm not really thrilled about the added weight idea

Some of you may not agree with this comment and even though I think Derek Wolfe is a great addition, I still think the Broncos should have found a way to move up and add Melvin Ingram to this elite tandem.
But I understand DT was the biggest position of need and I'm hoping that with Wolfes non stop motor and nasty aggression we have that Al Wilson presence on defense again.

Adding Muscle won't make you slower, but depending on where it is being added it could actually make you faster!

I think Von needs to pack some more meat on in order to be more effective against the run, but I doubt it effects his ability to pass rush at all.

He actually is very effective against the run and while adding muscle CAN make you faster it USUALLY makes you slower especially when we're talking 250lbs range...

Going from 165 to 175 of pure muscle can make you faster but even that can make u slower ...it usually makes u slower

It's not the first step that's the concern. Sam Adams was a monster but he had a quick first step, at least until he got old. The concern would be Miller's overall speed. Is he going to still be able to cover people? He's the strong side linebacker not the left defensive end so they have to be able to rely on him to cover some times.

Ten DL who started in a split front, four man line during the nine seasons prior to the 3-4; much continuity during that time. Those guys would mess you up. Sacks as a defensive stat were not kept then.
Some good names there specially Tombstone!

I did not get to see them but I did see Rulon Jones, Karl Mecklenburg and Simon Fletcher play and it was amazing. Fletcher is probably the most under-rated bronco defender all time imo. Football people always talk about Tombstone and Randy but I never hear anyone give Fletcher love.

He held a NFL sack record at one time...maybe still does. Wanna say it was longest stretch of games with a sack but not sure.

edit- Just looked it up. He shares the record with Ware at 10 games in a row with a sack.

Also check out his stats. He started 16 games 8 years. 5 of those years he got double digit sacks, 1 year he got 9.

                  Dude was a BEAST

Checkout the latest stats for Simon Fletcher. Get info about his position, age, height, weight, college, draft, and more on Pro-football-reference.com.

Crazy thing though is even as someone who watched him play I remember Meck being more of a beast but if you look at their stats Flectcher had more sacks. Meck did have 6 Pro Bowls and 4 All Pro Teams tho.

86 both Rulon and Meck made the All Pro team

Last year they all played together in 88 it shows Meck only playing 9 games and getting 102 tackles....is that REAL?!?
