I love the kid, but I don't think he's any good at the pro level and don't want him anywhere near this team...
I guess you were just trying to be a smartass...lolsigpic

I'd take Colt as a backup only if I really wasn't certain about Mannings health... I think it will do Os some good to sit and learn for at least this year. And Colt could keep us competitive so the team doesn't take a major hit.sigpic

Really not saying much with that statement. I personally would like to see OZ and Weber stay and send Hanie packing. When it comes to Colt, IF he could come over and compete for a job I would love him too but I wouldn't want to trade away a pick to see him here, no matter which one it is. Now if they want to trade Hanie straight up for him I would jump on it cause I'd much rather have Colt then Hanie but short of that, I'm pretty happy with the ones on the roster right now and I'd rather keep the picks for positions we may need to address. If something happens to Manning then let OZ come in and get experience. Just my opinion though. I do feel really bad for Colt though, God the Browns FO has no clew imo and the QB's deserve better. At least TT was replaced with Peyton Manning. They through Colt away for a 28 yr old rookie and were pretty classless about it imo. I hope the new owner cleans house. My Boss is a Jewish Carpenter

The difference between him and McCoy is not worth giving up anything.
Remember Brian Griese, I believe he would have been alot better QB in this league had he been given the time to grow and learn gradually. Im saying he would have been great by no means but he would have been alot better.
Sure Peyton Manning, John Elway, Dan Marino were thrusted into the spotlight/thrown to the wolves but those guys were /are special.
I just think you take it easy with a young QB as an insurance precaution.
