I don't know who I'd rather have as No 2. McCoy or Hanie?

Good source, very good source, tells me Broncos not interested in Colt McCoy.

Posted this in the other colt thread as well..

I like McCoy, but I don't think he would give us a better chance to win than Osweiler, Weber, or Hanie. If it was for a 7th round pick and we are hellbent on carrying 3 QB's then I wouldn't mind it. Cleveland is known for ruining QB's, he would most likely be an upgrade over Weber and Hanie.

    Brock is the guy.

Give him this whole year and another training camp to develop, and I honestly think we've got something.

From what I understand, this is only the guy's 2nd year as a QB. And after seeing him slinging the ball around last week, I'm fully confident he can be the guy going forward.

    He has all the tools.

Colt Mccoy. Why? The guy we drafted to be Manning's Successor has looked good so far and is ahead of schedule as a Pro, considering he was viewed as a project.

Brock will be the #2, we won't really even need a #3, and that's the end of that.

Denver is a place where McCoy could succeed at, the thinner air can help hide his deficiencies in arm strength.
And having big targets that can create YAC like DT and Decker will definitely make him look better. That being said I'd rather have Weber and Osweiler ahead of him

I don't think he's a terrible QB, we really haven't seen much. The Browns didn't really give him a chance to succeed, they never gave him a good supporting cast to play around with. I'm not saying he's the next Joe Montana, but I think he could be a good quarterback under the right system.
I have my doubts, but I'm not ready to write him off. But if Manning goes down, Colt McCoy is not taking this team anywhere.

Yes Hanie Sucks, but Oisweiler and Weber looked good in the first pre season game. With that said the coaching staff does see more than we do and may not be sold on a solid #2 QB. I don't think I'd like to see the Broncos trade for Colt McCoy, but would not be angry if we did get him for a very late pick (6th or 7th). I don't think we really need him!

Agreed. If Manning goes down, then Osweiler should be the next man up.

Honestly, colt was waaaaay overated for the hype he got coming out of college. Id let os or weber have a shot before him. I honestly have been more than surprised by how Brock looks.
