  • NFL.COM: Denver Broncos putting trust in new coordinator Adam Gase

Enjoyed this article and didn't see it posted, so thought I'd share for those interested. It discusses the relationship between Gase and our powerful offense.

The offense had zero rythym in the preseason game. That said, it was a preseason game, so it's not really a big deal.

Hopefully Gase can be the aggressive offensive mind Denver needs.

W will be so so so so so so so so so so so much better now that McCoy is gone. I challenged everyone to successfully call the first 3 plays. With McCoy we already knew what they were. So did the defense. Just by not telegraphing what we are doing immediately makes us better.

I can't wait. Our offense is going to be so much better this year. So many more points.
        So far:
        FA- Melvin Gordon. Brandon Scherff
        1. Kenneth Murray LB; 2. Shenault WR; 2B. Biadazz Center, 3. OT

Gase maybe calling in plays to Manning but he better be quick in this hurry up O.

If not PM will be getting the ball about the same time.

I wonder if the eye in the sky can still warn PM of something they see as long as there is more than 15second left on the play clock?

That may a huge reason to go hurry up as well as keeping the D sucking thin air.

It was just a preseason game, but I've already watched half a dozen teams march down the field with their first couple series. We're supposed to be the best offense in the NFL. We should be able to put together a better drive than the Bills.

The voice in PM's ear will be Gase. The voice in Gase's ear will be the box with relevant information. For about twenty seconds, Gase will remind PM of the script and other aspects of the gameplan including personnel. Broncos don't so much run a hurry-up O as they do a no-huddle O.

I agree. Mike McCoy held us back on offense with questionable playcalling. I could sit back and successfully call the play right before it happens. It was way too predicate offense.... Let Manning run the offense, he's one guy that does not really need offensive coordinator out there, he has one greatest football minds ever.

The playcalling has been pretty crappy tonight.
