Wow, that was an epic article. I couldn't have said it any better. He was able to put my feelings, and I'm sure every Broncos fan around, down in an eloquent fashion. Now, I'm more than pumped.

A W is a W. No style points in pro football. What goes around comes around.

John fox needs to stop being John fox this year and start being Belichik. Score without mercy and don't apologize for it.

I really would rather not be known as a finesse team.

I want teams to fear having to play us. I want us to get out there and hit people straight in the mouth and either side of the ball.

If Peyton doesn't punch Flacco at some point during this game I will be a little let down.

I agree. What's the difference between sqeaking out a win by 1 point or winning by 20?

                  +1.

I'll take a win with no injuries to either team. Game is no different from any other regular season game on the schedule.

If I was coaching the Broncos, I would tell them not to put much stock in the outcome, only in their individual performances -- be in the right place at the right time, don't make mental mistakes, play solid, heady football. It's only the first game of the season, against a non-divisional opponent. Doesn't matter much. Save your greatest games for the playoffs and the Super Bowl.

                      Oh lord I wish.

But he is what he is sadly.

I wish Harbaugh didn't go to the 49ers.. With him Elway and this team we would be working on our Second SB.

                      Great Article BTW

Same difference in a fight if you barley edge a guy for a decision or you TKO him in 3 rounds.

The guy who got KOed in 3 doesn't get a rematch and probably is not asking for one since he got destroyed and won't be able to get that out of his head. The guy who lost that close decision thinks he still has a chance to beat you.

The kind of win that article is talking about can not happen until next year imo

In 1998 we played the Cowboys who had players that were on those dominant championship teams. Do not remember which cowboy said it but the quote went something allong the lines of now he knew how it felt when teams played their former really good teams.

To have that kind of swagger....to make a statement like that...imo a team needs to have more dominant history then we do.

All we can do tomorrow imo is go 1-0, 1-0 at home, 1-0 vs the afc....all very important things mind u

I don't think so...I think with Harbaugh we wouldn't have he sherrif leading us there.

I would never say that. The most important game is always the one we play this week until we clinch home field advantage. We need to set the pace for how we are going to play every week this year. Every week we are going to play the game like champions. If you listen to old Superbowl era Broncos talk about the playoffs they'll say the games felt like regular season games because of how they approached them.

Winning is not a sometime thing; it's an all time thing. You don't win once in a while, you don't do things right once in a while, you do them right all the time. Winning is habit. Unfortunately, so is losing.

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.
