I keep looking at this list and I keep seeing the same names. Patrick Surtain, Sam Madison, Doug Flutie, and Jerome Brown. Like are these guys really being considered HoFers? Jerome Brown only played 4 seasons before he passed away in a car wreck, yeah he looked like he was going to be a great player alongside Reggie White, but you can't put together a HoF career in 4 seasons. Flutie was a career backup that didn't even get 100 TDs. Neither Surtain or Madison had over 40 INTs. You can't even say one of them was so good that they got ignored because they played on the same team pretty much their whole careers. There are even coaches on there with losing records.

Why wasn't Pat Bowlen on the list? He's only been the head of one of the best teams record wise in history since he took over. Why is Randy Gradishar yet again being passed over as a senior? They can put Madison and Surtain up there but not a true shutdown CB in Louis Wright? They better give me an all Bronco class for skipping over some of our greatest players. Atwater, Mecklenburg, TD, Smith, and Nalen should be the HoF nominees.

McNair, no...Tiki, no...Herschel, no...Bettis, yes, but not before Terrell Davis...Jimmy Smith and Rod Smith are tied at the hip, IMO, either both make it, or both don't. Very similar players...R Craig, Yes...Tim Brown, will get in at some point...Sterling Sharpe was an absolute Hall of Famer, just had career shortened by injury....'Too Tall', not sure he had a HoF career...Tom Nalen was right there with Dermonti Dawson as the best center in the league for a number of years, and anchored the best running game in the NFL for a number of years. Nalen should definitely get in

John Lynch is a no brainer, great player, as is Atwater. If strong safeties get in, there was no one better than them...and you can add Brian Dawkins to that list as well.

If Marv Levy gets in, Dan Reeves should be an absolute lock...Reeves had more wins as a Head Coach and as many playoff wins and Super Bowl appearances. Reeves was involved in nine Super Bowls and has rings as a player and assistant coach, and took a Broncos team to three SB's in four years...then took Atlanta to another. No, he never won the Big Game, but he never had the best team, either

The single biggest ommission, though, is Terell Davis, who had more rushing yards in his first four years than any back in the NFL and was the leader of the most dominant force in the NFL-the Broncos running game. Back-to-back Super Bowls, a League MVP and a SB MVP says it all....not to mention his playoff rushing totals, when he never had LESS than a 100 yard game. Both Curtis Martin and Jerome Bettis are considered locks, and neither player could carry Terrell's jock when they were all at their respective peaks.

A Hall of Fame voter once said, 'A Hall of Famer is a guy you can't tell the story of the NFL without'....how can you tell the story of the 1998-99 Super Bowl Champion Denver Broncos without Terrell Davis???

Jimmy Smith will never get in the HoF. Quite frankly I'm surprised he's even on the list, good numbers but his life is a train wreck off the field. If he does he'll probably sell his jacket for more blow, the NFL won't like that publicity. He's going to be under house arrest for quite awhile anyway, he wouldn't even be able to attend the induction ceremony.

To me Rod, Atwater, Gradishar, Meck and L. Wright are all HOFers. They were among the best to play their positions for a long period of time. All have multiple Pro Bowls, All Pros, Super Bowl appearances, hold NFL records, won individual awards and are all great people!

Those seem to be the qualities a player needs to have to be a HOFer. They all deserve to be in.

Now TD is another case. I love TD but it is hard to say he should be in. I know all the records and stats but the voters don't seem to care about that. My hope for TD would be a shot with the senior committee way down the road. He may have to wait a while but I think he will get in at some point.

TD outplayed Emmitt Smith and barry sanders during his 3 year run after being a rookie.

                  Dan Reeves? Not so much.

The rest of them are HOFs. IMO Mecklenberg and Atwater are overdue. Luv to see Rod Smith make it.

Never mind someone else made the same point.

Why not? He went to 4 SBs with subpar teams, and only a handful of coaches have ever done it
