You've got to love that an example of his impeccable logic in the original article is that the Broncos have an "overall lack of depth in the defensive backfield." My God. How many teams would kill for Denver's depth in the defensive backfield?

I don't mind that people commented on us struggling on defense without Von but for me it was more when they kept pointing towards losing Dumervil yet ignored the fact that the Broncos brought in Phillips who had just about as many sacks last season. I will say our defense has actually impressed me with how they have played up to this point. They are giving up more yards per game than I like to see and haven't been as dominant on 3rd down as last season (although we struggled the first 5 games last year too on 3rd down) but overall they have held their own and tightened up around the goal line really well. Throw in they have held some pretty darn good running teams in check so far.

Adam Schein is such a tool in my mind. Way to loud and opinionated. When I hear him I just want to turn of the sound...

Depending on how the Chargers turn out that could be at least a tough road game. Though should be a cakewalk at home.

When people say that I ask them to show me what 4-0 team is playing a SOS above .500. Because I'd be willing to bet none of them have.
Im glad you mentioned this, because alot of people are saying the same thing about us and yet praising the Chiefs for winning...Im like, how are you praising the Chiefs, when the Broncos and Chiefs play the same exact schedule, except for 2 games....

We're playing the Patriots and Ravens, while the Chiefs are playing the Jets and Browns......

I don't understand it at all...

Then you have people who actually believe we'll lose to the Texans/Patriots/Colts or all three of them...which makes no sense at all..

Me personally,I think we can win all three of those games, but 2 out of those 3 will be fine,by me...
    I understand

I agree. The rest of the season is certainly looking more challenging each week imo, but we aren't playing anyone (due to our strengths, not their weaknesses) that really scares me that much. Kansas City at KC, the chargers in san diego, and perhaps the wily PATS are my main concerns. luckily, the we should have VM and champ back for those games!

By far the funniest article i've read on nfl.com. everything he says is true.

SO NICE, for us Bronco Fans to finally have some good things to talk about on these boards. seems like since the 2005 afc championship game up until a couple years ago we have been miserable and now are on top of the world. or at least i am.

    GO BRONCOS!!
    Great article. Thanks!
