Chris Clark a Secret Superstar according to PFF

Looking at some of the value teams have been getting in the trades recently I don't see how the Broncos could want to trade him. I would think for a quality LT it would be bringing at least a 2nd round pick but seems like they have only been getting some late round picks. Not worth it in my mind especially when he has such a low cap number. We are only a couple of games in so too early to be thinking of that but it is nice to see the Broncos finally having some quality depth where losing a starter doesn't mean as ridiculous of a drop off as it used to.

There has been a lot of help at the line, but he has performed very well in Clady's absence. This is what a veteran backup should do and we have created a great bit of veteran depth and are getting the best out of all our players. There is no reason to wonder what we will do when Clady is back, let's just hope he can adjust as the defenders adjust to him. Franklin is a beast on the right side and is not in danger of losing his job

Not getting sacks but pressures and hurries constantly if he keeps up the development he could turn into a real steal.
He's 3rd or 4th in interior pressure of DT's.
To Clark, he did very well, this week vs Ware will tell a lot however.

Besides, teams don't have a lot of "quality depth" on an offensive line. It's just too expensive to keep around.
But if a team offered a say, second for him, it's something you consider.

Because clark is signed so cheap for 2 years its a boon to any team wanting to trade for him. Lets be honest. We have a lot of essential guys to re-sign. If Clark plays well did you ever consider that Clady may get moved and we keep clark? That free's up a lot of cash to sign others. FWIW I dont believe that would ever happen, just funny to consider.

But.... Dallas has this guy by the name of DeMarcus Ware who is pretty decent.... Maybe you guys have heard of him?....
Let's wait and see how he handles Ware, because the last two guys he has went against are nowhere in his area code skill wise.
This is the one thing I worry about most in this game. Ware destroying Clark and taking Manning out....Ware is not even talking to the media this week down here in Dallas...I think he really want's to get crazy this game... And im scared he might do that...
He didn't even register a sack against the Chargers pretty bad line.sigpic

Also the Chargers have allowed less pressure then we have (we are 2nd) despite Rivers holding onto the ball longer

I thought Chris Clark had reached his upside, but I was wrong. Denver's coaching staff is doing a great job helping all their players improve and play at a high level. It shows me that not too many correct conclusions can be drawn from what I see on TV of a preseason football game.
Denver is carrying nine OL on the roster and three each on IR and PS. After free agency and the draft next Spring the prospects will produce one of the best and deepest O-Lines in the League along with the other positions as well. Elway and Fox know the importance of quality depth. Low draft picks, UDFAs and veteran FAs will continue to be the real secret weapon of the Denver Broncos."Stultum est timere quod vitare non potes." ~ Publilius Syrus
