  • Twitter war between Denver Broncos and Jacksonville Jaguars

    You couldn't make this up...

Of all the records Peyton Manning is laying waste to through the first five weeks of this season – 20 passing touchdowns, 1,884 passing yards, 230 points -- it is perhaps this number that best defines how dominant he and the Broncos have been: -28.

You gotta scroll down on the page...

I do think it was fairly poor form for the Broncos PR staff to post that fact on twitter. They are supposed to make the franchise look better, classy. Not the opposite.

Still til this day,I get upset that we lost to them in the playoff game...we could of been a dynasty..

With that said,I agree,it was poor taste that they posted it on twitter...

Any team can be beaten on any given Sunday...

No doubt that loss to the Jags stings as much as the loss to BAL last year. No argument there!

How is it poor taste??? The jaguars play on the field is poor taste. All they said were facts
A healthy Kenneth Dixon is a top 5 NFL RB.

While, everybody agrees that the Jaguars are horrible, the Bronco organization should of kept that to themselves...You don't say something like to another organization, especially after you gave up 48 points the day before...

Should we win the game...yes,but like I said any team can be beaten any week...

Did they do this against Ravens...no

Did they do this against the Giants...no

Did they do this against the Eagles...no...

So,why do something silly like this against a bad football team, knowing you can blow them out ...

I seriously doubt they will do this against a team like the Chiefs and Patriots...

I'd rather not see stuff like that posted. As if the 28 point spread isn't enough motivation for them to step up, and the fact that we may be missing our 5 (yes, FIVE) best players on defense for that game. I still think we win no problem, but why even add fuel to the fire? I'd prefer we stay under the radar as much as possible.

They are both professional football teams. If you are mad because the other team stated facts about how little you score, maybe you should do something about it.

I found that to be a very unclassy move. We have been where they are and there is no need to pile it on while they are on the bottom just cause we are on top. It bothers me even more that this was Denver's official twitter not just some fan. That does not show well on us and I hope the front office does something to keep this from happening again. Yep we scored 51 and the jags have sucked, we don't need to act like the bully on the block and try and rub it in. We should be happy we are good right now and show some imo class and respect to others. IMO that might belong in smack but poor showing by Broncos organization tweeting it.

If this was anything but fact, I'd be upset.

The reason I'm not is that you can literally go the NFL.com, check the stats for the jaguars and the stats for the broncos and find this out for yourself. It's 100% fact. Adam Schefter could have tweeted that exact same thing and we'd all be laughing.

                          Exactly...

The same people that have no problem with it are the same people that had a problem with Tom Brady punting on us a few years back and then have the audacity to say it was classless....

Hopefully the PR guy didn't kill the Denver team by posting this bulletin board material for the Jags. The Jags may not be a very good football team right now, but they are an NFL franchise with professional players who can win a game. Let's just hope it's not against Denver.

such a dumb move. why tweet something like this? it only can make use look bad. well, pr dude or not, he's a fan of the team as well apparently, and shot his mouth off. luckily PFM is our leader on the field and he might be the most gracious competitor out there.
